I have the limited pre-ordered on amazon since july. Though amazon hasnt “guaranteed” Release date delievery. I went on Walmart and they still have it available (Amazon doesnt have it available anymore) and they “guarantee” Release date delievery. Do you think it would be safe to cancel my amazon order and go pre order on walmart? I’m afraid I might get screwed with walmart (since it seems like alot of places are selling out of it, and with what happened to best buy with the Forza 4 LCE)…
What amazon has is they say if you want it on release day, you have to go with two day shipping, but walmart guarantees release day with without having to get expensive two day shipping…
I have pre ordered several games from amazon and ALWAYS have gotten them on release date. If you check under orders and it says estimated delivery for the 6th then it will be from my experience anyway. Amazon seems to have changed to requiring to pay for 2 day shipping though.
However, the down side is my UPS guy NEVER gets to my house till around 6pm since I must be one of the last stops so I have bought my LE copy from Gamestop to get it at midnight and getting the LE halo xbox from amazon so should have that by the night of the 6th after I beat the campaign with some buddies from staying up since midnight!

Same here, it seems like they get to my house late in the afternoon. Plus where I live it seems like everything I order has to go through the post office (which in my opinion, not to bash anyone who works for the postal service, sucks with delievery and they take forever)

Go with walmart then, I just figured it would not be worth it to cancel your order and go through all that hassle when you can maybe just pay a few extra bucks for 2 day, make sure you get it on release than going through walmart which is not as popular of a choice.
But, I guess another reason could be which pre order bonus do you like more? Seems you could go either way at this rate both seem like you will get it on release date and seems you really just want to go with walmart so go for it lol
Your right Launcher, The more I think about it, I might just stick with amazon. Its better safe than sorry to have something already claimed then changing it. I’ll just pay more for two day thats all…
