Do you think in-progress joining will be in every playlist?

Do you think in-progress joining will be in every playlist? Because I prefer playing games from the start instead of being thrown into a game on the losing team, because that’s why people quit. Because they’re losing. Now, I know this isn’t always the case but you have to admit that it is most of the time.

Sure it’s great when you’re only a few points behind and 2 or 3 people quit and others join, you’ll still have a shot. But that’ll rarely happen, so there’s really no point in implementing this new system.

Instead, they should focus on preventing quitting. It’s impossible to stop it from happening 100% of the time, but it can be reduced by at least half, easily. In Reach, there was nothing to lose when you quit, so people didn’t care sitting out 10 minutes for quitting a few times. What’s 10 minutes anyway? Nobody cares about small penalties like that.

In Halo 4, there should be more severe punishments for quitters. That’s the most important aspect of it. If this can’t be done, I would like to see a playlist, preferably several, where you can’t join when the game is in progress.

Refer to my thread where I say that there will probably be no players joining in the last few minutes if the points gap is too large.

I have personally complained about quitters for a very long time. I absolutely hate objective game types because of quitters. I love this feature being added to the mix.

However I do agree that there needs be heavy punishment for quitting in the first place. I would suggest a ban that accumulates the more you quit within a given time period. I would also hit them with a drop of xp, credits, spartan points, or whatever it is that they will be using. This drop will also increase the more you do it.

Lets face it a 10 min ban gives me time to take a bio break, get a drink, and then get right back into the action.

This won’t end quitting completely but it should really deter them from doing so.

On the positive side, for those that hardly ever quit give them bonus credits/spartan points.

I would like to see this implemented in every playlist.
