Do you think how long it will take 343i to publish a new campaign DLC

Just guessing form the media, the story is surely not ended

Probably two years, minimum.

2 to 3 years minimum.

Really depends on how the planned/developed it. If they knew they wanted to go episodic from the start, and Campaign expansions are already in active development before this one was even done we might get them yearly. Thing is we know Infinite has had setbacks. It got pushed back, and extra year yet still feels rough around the edges. Season 1 is lasting way longer than they wanted it to. So I wouldn’t be surprised if any expansion development got put on hold. So I would expect to wait 2 years at least.

2 years is almost enough time for a whole new game…

Call me a cynic but mid to late 2022 would not surprise me. Given how light the story is according to some of the early reviews, I expect to be drip fed for the foreseeable lifespan of the game.

Most DLC now is finished or mostly finished when the game ships. All the heavy work is done with the base game. Given how aggressive the monetization scheme is with MP, I suspect the bean counters will want to get new content out while the hype is still fresh and before people (other than the diehard fans) move on to other things. Believing this will be handled any different just because it’s “Halo” seems naive to me.

We might not get any of this game continues to flop, they still have to fix multiplayer, bring coop and forge. Forge and coop have been suggested to be a year away if they can keep their word on it. All I can suggest is don’t hold your breath.

It feels like they’re quite behind on a lot of game features. Two years is very much a possibility.

One of the maps does have a desert environment in multiplayer so odds are some work has been done on assets for that biome type.

time required to add any expansion is relevant to how large it is in the first place.

If we’re talking about a completely brand new Campaign, not set on Zeta Halo, completely different enemies and so on, then 2 or 3 years is about the time it would take.

If we’re talking about a more traditional expansion pack, like adding new parts to Zeta Halo, new side mission etc. It could be done in months.

Honestly though its just a matter of what 343i actually wants to do.

1.5-2 years. Can’t see any less.
