I also want a nostalgia halo, something that incorporates old campaign moments and Easter eggs / classic armors.

No, the good old days of Halo 2 are gone. Not even Halo 3 was true Halo since it had armor equipment introduced in the game.

There wasn’t any equipment in competitive though. Plus equipments is a small change that don’t affect core mechanics and I think equipment was good. When you change sprint and armor abilites and the aiming system that’s core mechanics your changing and that’s just dumb.

As Deluxe 4 likes to say. It’s not gonna HAAAPPPPEEEENNNN. But honestly Halo 6 needs to be Halo 3.5 at launch with more playlists, more features, more game modes, more maps, and much more.

You go backwards you alienate the new audience you try to bring in and any players who’ve never known a non-sprint Halo. You keep going the route your going older fan bases lose interest. It’s really a no win situation.

I think in future installments, there should be two Arena playlists - Modern and Classic. Modern maintains the mechanics introduced in Halo 5, while Classic allows old and new players to relive the OG gameplay of the original trilogy.
