Do you think Halo Infinite have the MKVII Armor?

The Mark VII has barely been seen at all in games or lore. It’s supposed to be the most powerful and technologically enhanced version of the Spartan Armor. According to Dr. Halsey’s notes, the armor has the following capabilities and upgrades:

  • Nanobots for automatic repair of both the suit and the user. - Next-gen fusion-plasma hybrid power system. - Atmospheric insertion systems. - Slipspace de-insertion capability. - Active AI transfer protocols. - Limited shaping of the energy shield (partial overlaps, airfoils etc.). It should be noted that Spartans have survived orbital drops with only their suit, but they were not out of atmosphere drops. S-117 jumped from a Forerunner Dreadnaught from 2 kilometers up, making his jump inside the atmosphere. B-312 fell from a Covenant Corvette from the orbit of Reach, but utilized a M-Spec Reentry Pack. No Spartan has made a jump from out of the atmosphere and lived just with their armor. The MKVII would make the Spartan’s armor the equivalent of the ODST drop pod. A Spartan-II was field testing a prototype of the MKVII in 2553, and with humanity’s ability to rapidly upgrade and produce the armor, I’m hoping we see it in Halo Infinite. Leave your thoughts below!
I used Halofandom.com for the information.

No. The mark VII was scrapped when the program went to generation 2. However by the time of H5 the third gen armor system was being developed, this armor generation looked to be focusing more on survivability than mobility.

^ Incorrect. Mark VII is being used as the testbed for GEN3 mjolnir armor. Despite common belief among the fandom Mark VII is superior to GEN2 mjolnir as while some of its technologies were incorporated into GEN2, the closest variant is the DECIAMATOR Variant. The only reason Mark VII wasn’t massproduced is because it simply wasn’t viable in terms of cost as GEN2 is cheaper and lighter.

Now I’m not going into the arguement of GEN1=/=GEN2 as its simply a tired arguement. However knowing Mark VII has uses as a testbed for future mjolnir armor is nice to know and I’d love to see it in Halo Infinite. Personally though I am looking forward to the day Halsey’s hypothetical armor that can perform slispace de-insertion and is powered by plasma and fusion energy.
