So, 343 has put out Halo 4, Halo: MCC, and Halo 5: Guardians, and they have not been universally loved like the previous games. 343 has had a real struggle making these games (putting MCC together). Halo 6 has a lot riding on it. Halo 5 really disappointed people, some saying it’s the worst game to date. For some, Halo 6 will determine if they’re sticking around depending on this game.My question is, do you think Halo 6 will make or break 343? If it’s amazing and a massive success, hell yes!!! Congrats on them!! However, if this is their 4th blunder, what do you think will happen to 343?
It depends on how they handle it, a reason why halo 5 was so bad was because 343 gave in to all the demands from fans. They need to prioritize on the things they need to changd rather than the bullsh*t the plebs are demanding. an extra year of development was a smart move on their part, it will give them more time to perfect halo 6. In my opinion as long as halo 6 has a good/decent campaign, and a reach or classic style multiplayer, then i think halo 6 will do well. To be honest 343 can’t afford to fail again, one more mess up and they might lose most of the halo fanbase. 343’s future all depends on how well halo 6 does, bur only time will tell.

Exactly. I think they’ll make an awesome game! However, if the game is a disappointment and doesn’t sell well I can actually see 343 being in trouble. I could see MS either disbanding 343 from the Halo franchise, or a good chunk of the members (Frankie, good chunk of the developers, possibly Bonnie) being removed from the company and it pretty much starting from scratch.
Dwelling on the negatives and being a negative Nelly isn’t really helpful or constructive. Especially when you get to the point about talking about a company, people’s jobs, etc.
