I’m gonna be completely honest, Halo Reach was a bit of a bomb and it kinda killed my interest in Halo with the rather random storyline and poor ranking system but can Halo 4 bring back the shine Halo 3 had? After I saw the new trailer I instantly thought “This game is going to be AMAZING” However, many people are probably thinking “zOMG 343 r ruins teh halo series it be like Callz O’ Duty with dem perks and loadoutssss!!! Bring teh Bungiez back! They the original halo-ers!” but I think the series is in very good hands and halo 4 WILL live up to the hype

The only way for Halo 4 to live up to the hype is if it shirks all expectations and blows every fanboys mind with something radically different from anything they’ve seen before. If they make just a Halo 3 analog, then they’ll inevitably fail because they’ll be competing with the social environment of 2007 which was more condusive to this type of game than now. Standards have changed, reactions will be different (even by the same people), and just as CEA didn’t spark the same sort of madness that the original game once did any version of Halo 4 that respects the conventions of the previous games will be underwhelming because in no way can it hope to match the better days of the franchise without the context of them.
Meh atm i have no hype for Halo of duty. Sad to see my favourite franchise has sold out. Oh well, well always have the memories of the good old days.
I think Halo 4 will be amazing because 343i knows what they’re doing and are extremely passionate.
We can’t really tell at this point. I know I’m going to enjoy the game and I’ll definitely be getting the Legendary edition (assuming there is one) but there might be some features I dislike.

Play the game before you pass judgement . If it is your favorite game of all time you will give it the benifit of the doubt . Becides if halo 4 is great this is just the beginning of the good ol days .
A beta will put a lot of minds at rest about multi-player. Multi-player so far looks like Reach 2.0 to me. All this Spartan 4 and perks with armor seems unnecessary to me. But 343i may make it work yet or they won’t.
I’m more anxious about the series than hyped as of now.
