Halo 3 AND Reach both had multiplayer betas. It’s likely to assume that 343 will include a beta for Halo 4, don’t you think? I certainly hope so, I had tremendous fun with both previous betas.
most of the time games w/out open betas have alot of bugs and glitches so probably, 343 isint that stupid, especialy because its running on a new engine practically

Which is odd since they haven’t even confirmed the existence of a beta. Seriously, it’s not something that needs to be secret.

It would be both a foolish marketing and game development decision to NOT have a MP BETA (Open OR Closed) nowadays.

not really, just look at COD, betas lower sales but higher quality, and halo needs sales but i dont think theyll screw over us hardcore players w/ no beta test

Or they could just be keeping the beta a secret in order to make us suffer more…
I would be surpised if there isn’t but there’ll probably be more information towards the time.
Its highly likely, but we probably won’t get one until the end of the summer/autumn. I’m pretty certain on an announcement with a trailer at E3.
I honestly don’t see Halo 4 coming out in 2012. Might as well give Reach another year so Halo 4 doesn’t end up being rushed.
They announced the Reach beta with the multiplayer trailer, right? I think that was February or even March, so not too worried there. That said, I would expect some trailer at all within the coming weeks, campaign or multiplayer, sheesh.

Nope, they announced the Reach beta more then a year before the launch because I remember the beta invite came with O.D.S.T so it was announced more thne a year before the full game came out.

That’s when they announced the actual date of the beta, but the actual announcement of there being a beta was sooner. I forgot when it was.
Most likely it will have one.

Ya, and im hoping for a Halo 4 multiplayer trailer and beta announcment at E3 this year.
Oh yes, definitely. I know a guy who’s working on the beta build for the Halo 4 beta. Haven’t talked to him in a while though, so I don’t know much, but there’s definitely gonna be a Halo 4 beta.
