Just your opinion. Do you think the ending will be better then mass effect 3’s ending? here is the world’s reaction to mass effect 3’s ending.
After poor business practices and big controversies over alot of there stuff like ashely/kaiden convo relationships, tali’s human photo, no decisions played a huge part, asking for MSP for packages, and taking away % of awareness for not playing everyday and DLC lies. They thought at least the ending would be okay and then they got hit hard. you think the forerunner series will or will not end like ME3?
since we’re having a Halo 5 and 6 I don’t mind if we’re left on a cliffhanger.
Yes. Halo isn’t an RPG so it’s not as hard to make a satisfying ending.
> Yes. Halo isn’t an RPG so it’s not as hard to make a satisfying ending.
the rpg genre has nothing to do with that. they excused the bad ending as “there was no way you were going to defeat the reapers with a happy ending” yet dispite stopping sovereign and saren and defeating the collectors yet apparantly all that didnt matter lol. i mean that would be like halo 3 ending with chief dying because the covanent was too strong to stop. the whole point was to do the impossible and complete the heros journey. but ya it was still possible to end mass effect 3 with a good ending as halo can do too. alot more dialog for rpgs but its still possible.
I’ll to see more about Halo 4 (and Halo 5, for that matter, but that’s at least three years away
) before I can compare it to ME3.
> I’ll to see more about Halo 4 (and Halo 5, for that matter, but that’s at least three years away

i bet the pain will still exist like TORtanic did when they kid the unsubcribe button so no one could unsubcribe so they could stop paying.
There’s no -Yoinking!- escape from this stupid -Yoink-, is there? I’m so sick and tired of hearing about ME3’s ending. It’s not at all relevant here.
Talking smack about it doesn’t make you cool. And honestly, this entire thing has gotten quite juvenile. There’s really only two ways that Halo 6 can end anyway. Chief lives, setting up a chance for a sequel, or he sacrifices himself.
Anything else will just feel cheap. “And the threat was vanquished. Chief and Cortana lived happily ever after.”

lol juvenile? 90% on the polls hated the ending. DLC closure is coming because BW is facing backlash at all their games for bad storytelling. so no i can say this and it is very relative. i want your opinion whether it ends before better or worse. so no im not acting cool at all so get over yourself trying to act cool by fighting some lol.

If you don’t think whining like a kid about an ending people didn’t like instead of… of, I don’t know, MOVING ON WITH LIFE is juvenile, I’m not certain you are mature enough to be playing Halo or Mass Effect.
This is Halo Waypoint. Not Mass Effect Waypoint. So regardless of what you might believe, Mass Effect 3’s ending is not relevant* here.
As for ‘my opinion,’ I’ve given it to you. Chief dies, or they set up a sequel. ‘My opinion’ is that Bioware is well within their rights as artists to conclude their art however they damn well please. And I hope that 343 has the guts to make bold artistic decisions with theirs.
*Note I said RELEVANT, not RELATIVE. The two words are not interchangeable.

wow you are actually a kid, i can tell. you dont understand the question. you are arguing for the sake of arguing. i asked :what do you think". Put you input of yes or no and get on with it. you want to actually argue about the question. it is relevant because halo is being asked in the question. as consumers they have an actual right to speak up about their product. if we are wrong then why is BW making a DLC? ya exactly because we do something. you just lay their and die. we did something and you said “deal with it” and look who won. the 90% won so you 10% can bugger off now instead of being a sore loser and complaining about a simple effing question. you argue because you get off to it. all you had to say was yes or no but you just want to argue with every OP’s question on these forums.

Ad hominem fallacy. You make sweeping assumptions based on little evidence. I’m 21, not that it’s of any consequence to this discussion. It could be said that you ‘get off’ on irrelevancy.
Bioware is making DLC for the same reason a parent caves in and buys their unruly child a candy bar. To shut you up.
And I suggest you reread both of my posts, twice I’ve reiterated my opinion. Your question is asked assuming that the quality of Mass Effect 3’s ending is objective. It’s a loaded question.
I think that Halo 6 will end in much the same way. Whether or not that’s bad is subjective. And for the record, 90% of a forum is less than 1% of the total population, and more than likely less than 30% of the total sales of a game.
Mass Effect 3 sold 1.2 million copies in the first month. Bioware’s forums have far less than 1 million active accounts, and even then, not everyone on their forums is complaining.
The internet breeds this big fish mentality. In reality you’re just a big fish in a small pond. A very noisy minority.
Bioware’s writers aren’t working on the game, so yeah.
ANY ending is better than mass effect 3’s
Less flaming, more on topicness please!
I say yes 1000x yes it will be much better because the makers of Halo and the whole franchise are not the same as the makers of Mass Effect.
Also EA isn’t the same as Microsoft where EA has tons of games it farms its money off of and Microsoft has very few games/IPs of its own to spend money off of so it most likely won’t allow 343 to do anything stupid/drastic. Plus I doubt 343i employees would allow a horrible ending for their fans…I’m very sure.

My god was it that hard? see thats all you had to say for the highlight. please stop arguing and just have fun instead of flamming. i dint waste reading your other stuff you wrote because it was on fire with lies and assumptions and so i cant answer it unless you put out the flames.

If you would actually take the time to read and absorb what was written, you’d realize I said that in my very first post.
So your smug asinine response is unwarranted.
Halo 6’s ending will be better than ME3’s. Even if they had another Halo 2/3 ending, it still wouldn’t be as bad. There were so many factors that lead the ME3’s ending being so bad (that I can list if you really want to) that Halo probably couldn’t trump all of them.
