Right now I’m not sure what to pre-order H4 LE or Borderlands LE, the Halo 4 comes with the DVD which I really want, but other than that it’s kind of light for $100. But on the other hand Borderlands LE ($100) comes with includes the game, Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, art book, stickers, digital comic and some unspecified DLC. There’s also the “Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition”, which includes all items previously mentioned, along with actual red loot chest box and other goodies at $150. Do you think the Halo 4 Limited Edition is worth the $100.
I’m sorry…but Halo 4’s LE comes with no DVD. You just get a code to stream it off Waypoint.
Oh, well I had thought it came with a DVD. That’s a bummer. A physical copy would be awesome!
I’ll admit, I was a little disappointed when I haerd that it is no DVD disc for Forward unto Dawn.

I know, I was severly dissapointed when I found out. Still, Halo 4 LE looks awesome and I’ve pre-ordered it. However, you wanting to pre-order it depends on what you’d prefer. Sounds like that Borderlands 2 LE is worth it as well.
It’s no Bungie Pre-order but its a start. I think it looks pretty slick. Halo 2 didn’t come with much but they did have a 5000 limited edition joy ride figures like the Limited Edition hardened case. 
Those are tough to get your hands on in excellent condition.

I have still all my Halo LEs. Halo 2: one LE, one normal.
But my halo 2 LE case is a bit rusted

Am I pissed the FUD Film is a streaming download? You bet your -Yoink!-. Am I getting the LE; you bet your -Yoink!-. First off 343i has REALLY dropped the ball here; Bungie Studios was so good to us, all these bonus content disks. Hell, H3 came with so much content, the remastered CE and H2 cinematics, all those making of features. The bestiary. Come on! I DO NOT want a streaming redemption, that’s bull. The possibilities of 343 taking away that content is SO HIGH, and that’s just sleazy. I hate digital content. I want to own it.
Now, I am a hardcore fan. I have the Legendary Editions of Reach and Halo, and the LE of Halo Wars and Halo 2. I want the Briefing Pack and the real goodies, plus the map packs. I know I’ll be getting the map packs, so this is a win. But, before I continue, let’s look at the value we have right now-
Halo 4- $59.99
THREE MAP PACKS- $10.00 (more than likely) each, so $30.00 total.
Right there we are at $90.00 before tax. And the LE is $99.99 (in america anyway), so we’re doing pretty good on value.
The Briefing Pack has no price, so that really depends on the content and amount of paper that discerns a price tag. Colored, high quality paper will cost money.
All the making of features is bonus content, it is standard and has no value.
Then we have FUD, the film itself. This is a 90 minute film, so right there we’re looking at about 15 bucks. Yes, the shorts will be free on Waypoint, but they’ve already confirmed this is an extended version, that will also be sold individually AFTER the release of HALO 4. If this is just streaming, you don’t own it, Waypoint can take that away from you at any time. If you’re like me, you’ll copy the stream, and keep it on a disk. So, that’s 15 bucks saved either way.
I would say that’s a value. But DO NOT let Waypoint take that FUD film away from you. As a consumer, it’s your right to own a physical copy of this content. So as it streams, just rip. It’s within your rights.
This is true and i like the points you have made.
I prefer owning something that will retain value in the long run like Halo 2 Joyride figures halo 3 legendary Halo3 ODST came with the bonus controller and Its came with the updated Halo 3 maps so you did get a lot from Bungie. Halo Reach has had the most content I have ever seen. Bungie spoiled us very well. If they do take something way that we have earn that stinks. Its bad enough we already lost our Nameplates and Bungie Pro :(, and i know that isn’t all 343i’s fault but it did tilt the bridge with fans for a while.

Even though Forward Unto Dawn is only available via streaming, at least you get the 3 DLCs that will be coming out, so yeah, it’s still worth getting.
I think its worth buying to be honest. On a side note, the legendary edition of borderlands is sooooo cool 
Im not getting it due to the price and I really don’t love borderlands that much that I would buy it but needless to say, I can’t wait for the game.

I want to try and obtain the count down clock if they have any of those. I have reach’s and Halo 2’s.
