Do you think Cortana will destroy the Warden?

Can only speculate on the reasons and circumstances. But they make a big deal about him having a single mind and millions of bodies. If hes an incorporeal Forerunner AI then presumably whatever destroys him has to be an attack on that mind and he doesn’t have a core or central area to destroy. We know that Cortana can do this because its what she does to a Covenant AI in First Strike.

There was also a lot of tension and manipulation implied in their conversations. Especially the “you won’t allow me to choose who I trust” talk. The Warden also states that he could have purged Cortana from the Domain. Does he still have the ability to do this? Or has Cortana evolved past him and surpasses him in terms of power? Or is the nature of the Warden that he has the ability to determine who controls the Domain, so could presumably replace Cortana with another AI? I thought there was some major foreshadowing in that scene and it raises a lot of questions.

I think so. She wasn’t happy with him at the end

I’m hoping that Yes. But also that Cortana is being controlled either by the Didact or the Gravemind. I vividly remember the mission to retrieve cCortana from the Flood infected ship and the concern that she would be taken control of by the Gravemind. That would be -Yoink!- cool if it plays out that way.

She’s already destroyed a few of his body’s so maybe.

I think she was just teleporting them away.

Technically, she just teleported his bodies away, not destroyed them. He’s too important to the storyline for her to kill him, in all honesty.

Maybe she can remove him from Warzone maps so that we can finally get a different boss to fight?

Oh I doubt it would be on a whim. I imagine it would be a pretty big moment in the story. She didn’t really seem to consider the possibility that the Warden might actually kill the Chief in Halo 5. Shes calls it “antics” at one point.
