Do you think 343 will show off Guardians’ multiplayer at E3? If so that would be incredible!! I am really psyched for this game even though it isn’t coming out for another year and a half. I really think 343 are going to make an amazing game. I hope they’ve listened to the community and competitive players and learnt from the mistakes of halo 4 to put together a halo that competes with the likes of halo 2 and 3’s reputations. 343 are going to have to bring their A game to E3 if they want to stand a chance against the upcoming FPS behemoth that is Destiny.

They have never opened with multuplayer gameplay first I believe nor should they.

Good point, they might show a snippet from a campaign mission like they did with halo 4 on the mission ‘Infinity’. Perhaps next year’s E3 we will see the multiplayer in full swing 
CGI with most likely a gameplay reveal of whats going to be coming out later this year.
Absolutely not. The game is still almost a year and a half away from going gold, there’s no way they’re ready to show off gameplay already. ESPECIALLY multiplayer. Wouldn’t get your hopes up.

Most likely not. We’re still a year and a half away from release, we’ll probably just get a campaign tease and then leave it at that.
I have a feeling that most of the multiplayer focus will be for Halo 2 Anniversary. I mean, now that we know that a game still is coming out this year, on the 10th anniversary of Halo 2, and that it isn’t Halo 5, what else could it be?
No, we won’t get to play it.
What I think will happen is we will get a trailer like we did last year, but this time we will get more info on what the game is about, I think we will get a slight idea of what is up with the other Spartan on the cover art as well. That’s just my theory anyway.
I clicked on the ‘Yes but we won’t be able to play it’, however I would put that down to the fact that the game probably isn’t in any playable state at this time.
We will most likely get a CGI trailer much like the HXO one last year, but with obviously more relevance to Halo 5.

multiplayer is the last Halo related thing i want to hear at E3…
been there, max ranked that… same old -Yoink-.
I wanna see new locations, enemies, characters, story, epic soundtrack, concept art, proper halo universe stuff, not just people playing TDM on a symmetrical map in 1080p… lol
i don’t think there will be a trailer, way to early.
if i remember correctly, halo 4-gameplay was also shown
first in the 2012-E3. i wouldn’t hold my breath, but maybe,
some kind of teaser, like the Poncho-Teaser last year.
but i think simple informations about the plot seems more likely.
besides that, if they going to show any trailers, it will
be something about what 2014 still has in store for us,
since it has been said they start “with a giant leap, than a smell step”.

I hope the giant leap is really giant and something that leaves us in awe 
Not a chance. This game is a year out. We won’t see much until E3 2015 where we will most likely see a campaign trailer and thats it. I have a feeling 343i has something up their sleeves for this E3
No way. At most we will get a very short snippet of gameplay if we are extremely lucky. Imagine a Halo version of the Watch Dogs reveal at E3 2012. More of real time showing of the engine and tech behind the game than anything representative of gameplay. Plus we will get a CGI teaser like the poncho one we got last E3. 343 will play it much closer to the chest for Halo 5. I am guessing that next year we will get a few trailers, a barebones multiplayer for events, and a made up part of the campaign for the E3 press conference, and nothing else really. Developer diaries and behind the scenes will be probably be added the limited editions of the game.
I can see it now towards the end of the Microsoft conference they roll out a Trailer of some sort, very vague. We probably wont get any gameplay trailer until E3 2015.
If the rumors… and then confirmations are staying true from the NEOGAF user ntkrnl… then it seems Halo 5: Guardians… will not have appropriate gameplay for multiplayer by E3 2014… perhaps Campaign… but all would be Alpha phase and testing still… and then private Betas will be held by Microsoft and 343 Industries staff… coming up to the Halo 2 Anniversary/Halo: the Master Chief Collection release… to which the beta is made temporarily open… via a access code.
