on topic: doubt it, as they would probably be showcasing the Improved version of Halo 4 which in any case is just the weapon tuning.

I think Spartan Ops Season 2 is more likely than those two.
I couldn’t see Halo’s main story games becoming a yearly release, and Halo 2’s 10 year Anniversary is in 2014. I could be wrong though.
Can anyone post a source saying there will be more DLC? I thought they were done with it.

You know, every year is an anniversary for Halo 2 when that day comes around. If Halo 2: Anniversary seems to only work if it were the 10 year anniversary, they could just call it Halo 2: HD or something and release it this fall. That’d be sweet.
I want to see something about Halo 5 actually. SOMETHING. I don’t care what.
Halo Infinity, stand alone game, kinda like ODST was.
Basically Spartan Ops Season 2 released as a full game with a Crimson Team Firefight mode.

Huh, that post started out sarcastic, but I’d probably actually buy it.
It would be crazy for them to not release any more DLC since the game has only been out for 6 months, something about that seems like an extremely short time to release 3 map packs and a forge map… Back in Halo 3, it was at least 5 months between each Map Pack, and in Reach it was even longer. This could mean that everyone will need to clear a massive amount of Hard Drive space to make room for the huge amount to DLC that will rapidly burp out of 343, or a new Halo is right around the corner, waiting to be revealed… Even Tesco said something about a new Halo at the end of the year, but they were stamped down by Microsoft. However, Microsoft has been very careful about leaks lately, especially during the Console Wars where any wrong word could kill them. (DRM)
I would expect a new Halo, since their not making a second season of SpOps, and the DLC came really fast. A secondary Halo game is normally released between each major title, and now that Halo games are in a 2 year cycle, it would surprise me if there wasn’t one.
I still think Halo 4 brought in a lot of things that could be considered best of the series. The muliplayer is quite the hiccup as we all know, but 343 really has improved many of the core things like they promised.

343 has mentioned something, however, I have a feeling we won’t see this “mysterious” DLC for the next few months.

I’d take that, or a new Moa-based gametype. I really could not care less about more multiplayer maps.
Well, if one has listened to what 343i has stated a couple of times, that is that the Castle Map Pack was the last DLC for the Limited Edition/Season Pass/War Games DLC Holders; that is, the third of the three. I have not yet seen a written quote or video quote where 343i have stated that there would be no more DLC for Halo 4, only that the Castle Map Pack was the last of the DLC Season pass DLCs.
