If you ask me,“Hell NO”, do you know how many games so far copied call of duty this past 2 years. There’s: Lost Planet 3, GOW judgement, and halo 4, thats all I no so far.
But, seriously remove the COD features like:
Ordinance/Kill Streak
Tactical Package/Perks
Support Upgrade/Perks
Specialization/Prestige
Death Cam/Kill Cam
The only “CoD” feature I like are killcams, which can also argued to not originally be a Call of Duty feature.
Halo CE was loved because it innovated. Halo 4 hasn’t been loved so much because it just took ideas and added tweaks that really didn’t make it any better.
I’m gonna have to politely say NO. I think these new features destroyed Halo 4, and if 343 decides to force another game like that down our throats, then I am sold on the Xbox One? That didn’t make any sense…

Ordnance should just be gone in general, I’m quite tired of having games where the entire enemy team gets Beam Rifles and Incineration Cannons just because they got a few “Distraction” medals.
I’m all for custom loadouts, they allow me to cater to my own playing style without sacrificing balance. However, I think that terrible features like perks, being able to spawn with overpowered Armor Abilities, Sticky Grenades, and BOLTSHOTS all need to be removed from the Personal Loadout System for it to really shine.
The Grenade Danger Indicator and the Killcams are really pointless features that clearly only exist to mimic COD, those are invited to stay out of Halo from now on.
I’d rather Personal Ordnance be done away with, but I do like Custom Loadouts, because they’re NOT just like COD
I mean, yea, they’re similar in concept, but in Halo 4, there isn’t a huge variety with the guns, so really, each gun as a certain role, rather than just getting a stronger gun as you level up, as is with COD.
Basically what I’m saying is that even though Halo now does custom loadouts, it’s not nearly as unbalanced as how COD does it.

The Tactical Package and Support Upgrades are what I agree with you on. The kill cam, is actually, not that game changing or anything, it helps me know how I died, and how I can prevent it. Specializations benefits should be for everyone at start, but it can be fixed with making it either an all skill ranking, or Reach- like ranks.
But for Ordinance and Custom Loadouts
How about this:My very long idea
As long as there is a viable, legitimate way/playlist to play without these features, I don’t care. But I will say that perks need to go and PO too unless they change it completely.
I LOVE Custom Loadouts. Needs some balancing though.
Tactical and Support Packages just need some work.
Custom Games can benefit with Personal Ordnance.
Kill Cams explain the bull that happened.
Final Kill Cams are freaking awesome.
However, there should definitely be playlists that do not have those features for players that don’t like them.
You forgot progression based/level based/currency based game play unlocks.
Everything you mentioned can be be tweaked or fiddled with to keep Infinity essentially the same, just a tad more balanced, but id rather just all the Infinity stuff gone. I’m a sucker for the game play of old and a fair and balanced game.
However, I really want to see the weapons/perks unlocks by leveling up gone.
Every player should have access to the same gear (outside of aesthetic items naturally) so as to create that essence of balance, albeit in a very pseudo way.
Progression unlocks in Halo should stay exclusive to aesthetic purposes as opposed to game play purposes.
