I was wondering if people switch back and forth between Halo 5 and the MCC or if they play one almost exclusively. I myself stick with 5 for 99% of the time. What about you guys?

Personally I can’t swap back and forth. I played MCC most of last year, and switched back to Halo 5. Now that I have a goal in mind with 5, I won’t touch MCC til I got 152.
The simple truth is that 5 plays differently enough that it messes with my muscle memory to play other Halo games at the same time.

Used to play MCC heavily until I got used to the sprint and thrust system in halo 5. It’s kind of a bummer seeing as Halo 5 only has Infection, Warzone as playlists I play.
I swap between games, but my least played right now is Halo 5.
I can’t switch between games due to the difference in controls… otherwise I would… I like some of the unlocks… buuut… the difference in controls is enough to keep me away.
Matchmaking for MCC is pretty scuffed for me, so I’m waiting for the customs browser. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky in that I can’t find games recently, I need to scratch some H3 CTF itches.

I guess in theory if you wanted to take the time and energy to do it… I suppose you could create a custom button layout. Not sure though, I’ve never tried. And maybe since MCC is the only game that 343 cares about (since god knows they don’t care about Halo 5)… maybe they could push something like that in an update down the line…
I stick with MCC mostly, I played Halo 5 to the point where I’m burnt out of the game
