I’ve bought probably about $100+ in the shop so far. Really only reason why is because I liked the item or I was still in honeymoon phase. Regardless, I’m happy with my purchases, but until some major changes come to the game, I probably won’t be buying anything else.
I really haven’t played the game in like 2 weeks aside from a bot match a day for the Christmas event. But I’ve ran out of things to do other than climb ranked, and I’m at the point where I’ve climbed high enough that I run into hackers so I’m done with Infinite until anticheat is implemented, crossplay is optional, and server selection and stability is improved.
I have spent money on PUBG cosmetics because they are worth like a dollar or a few pennies sometimes, and I can also re-sell them when I’m done.
Will never purchase anything from 343 unless they unlock some player creativity and make the outline system about us the players, not all purchasing stuff to look the same as eachother. They will never have the amount of colour variety that H3 had, that would require over 26000 paintjobs,. Even HR had around 900 paintjobs with only primary and secondary colours. Chances of me ever getting my preffered colours are so extremely low…
Tell me about it. I’ve had black/dark grey primary and dark blue for secondary since Halo Reach. I changed my colors in 3 from White and Gold to Steel and Orange by the time Recon was available by Vidmaster Challenges.
In infinite I’ve changed my coating from the stupid Cadet Blue which makes me freaking solid blue like I’m on Blue Team 24/7, to Dogfight Makovich which is more of a Slate Grey with small bits of dark grey pieces. I have had to settle for this coating because it’s the only one that’s not just basic starting color and looks a little bit like something I’d want.
What I want is to make my Spartan black and dark blue, but 343 hasn’t made that coating yet. Instead they have 2 HCS kits for sale that force Spartans to wear specific armor and emblems to have those colors THAT YOU’VE BEEN ABLE TO SELECT SINCE HALO 2! But no I’m forced to wait and when a coating does get made it’ll probably cost $10 or more. And I ain’t paying for that either. I will not pay for the color black/blue.
Have not bought a single cosmetic in Infinite. Don’t plan to until the store changes for the better. Don’t plan on buying any new Halo products either until then.
For me it’s the Valkyrie emblem. I’m sure it’ll come up at some point, as I know I’m hardly the only one that used it.
I suppose so. I’m just hoping that it can have other attachments with it and not just be either use the GUNGNIR attachment or use some other one and only have the base Stormfall helmet.
I’d like to have thst opinion to cause unlike reach we have for the most part all attachments available in n all the helmets (minus some thst don’t make sense like why have cbrn pips for Eva when Eva is made for space and is probably already a tight seal) I just don’t like that it’s only one attachment at the moment
I got the Chief/Cortana weapon charm. Was pretty neat and I like the characters so I got it. There wasn’t really any other charm or emblem that reflected that in the base game. Should there be? Perhaps.
Whereas say, the Mr Chief AI, I never really got the Mister Chief thing. So it’s a pass.
Most of the armour is either minor variants of Mark 7 or cosmetic changes like pineapple grenades. We’re not exactly talking Assassins Creed premium armours here. There’s nothing that exciting. Probably why the cats ears ran away since it was a noticeable cosmetic change.
I would think adding the option to equip multiple attachments (as long as they don’t conflict in some way) would be a relatively easy thing to do. It’d also help them with encouraging more store purchases. Like one of the two 500 credit packs I got had the HUL/RS/FACELIFT attachment. One of the other 500 credit bundles I’ve seen on the store has the CNM(5)/BNR/FASCINATOR helmet attachment. There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to equip both at the same time as they’re on opposite sides of the helmet.
That’s the idea I hope to see down the line like having only 1 is fine but it can be better like I’m not saying split it between right abd left attachments but make like a second attachment tab to help spice it up
Why just two attachments? Why not be able to have attachments for both sides of your helmet, an UA attachment, and a CBRN attachment like most of the helmets in Reach had?
I bought the $10 BP, and my spartan honestly looks really good. I haven’t bought anything from the store, because nothing has been worth the pretty high prices for me to want to.
Maybe they’ll add something I’ll want, but I’m not sure. The BP and twitch drops from Raleigh have my spartan looking really good, so I’ll probably just rock the BP cosmetics each season.
lol, I really don’t get why the cat ears are suddenly the target of anger when we’ve had a unicorn helmet for the past two games. Cat ears don’t seem any more ridiculous.
It’s so sad and pathetic just how their blood pressure spikes, so straight up declare they’re gonna throw the match over them. Their tears are delicious.
I think what burns is having the Mark VII helmet unlock so much later on the pass. I was hoping it would be the default helmet. I like it a lot but it’ll be a minute before I can unlock it.
I like customizing my Spartan. Most of the money I’ve spent is on the BP tbh, very little from the store because most of it I don’t feel their is enough value. But I’m ok with spending money because I believe is supporting people’s hard work.
