This great Hunt The Truth trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYIigjnIkVo
After complete Halo 5’s Campaign, this trailer is…useless?
What’s that city? Is it Meridian?
I know its a metaphoric trailer, but it would have been GREAT to walk through that city, feeling the people hopeless scaring and running, see the real chaos, reading “TRAITOR” on the walls…
And when is it said that the Chief died during the campaign?
I don’t know if I should feel cheated or if I’m just so fussy…
Conclussion: I think that the reason of the hole “Hunt The Truth” thing was only an excuse to hide the Cortana’s plot, while that Hunt The Truth Campaign was actually going to be much better than the current one.
Yeah, the whole Hunt the Truth thing seemed so interesting.
It led me to believe that we’d be really in a ODST type of thing; while you’re with Fireteam Osiris, you find some clues, then when you uncover them, you cut to the Chief gameplay. Eventually the paths collide, and then the plot takes a turn, etc.
I wished Halo 5 was that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. It was a really short campaign which I beat twice (casual on Normal, and a Legendary Run) within a total of about, I’d say, 12 hours (at the most). No Halo game has ever left me with such a sense of emptiness after the campaign.
I hope that Halo 6 (or whatever it may be called) delivers the kind of the game Hunt the Truth led us to think Halo 5 would be. Full of diverse areas, people, and an expansive story that will keep you hooked into it.
I’d like that more than (Campaign spoilers ahead for those who haven’t played it):
Going around killing the same enemies (and constant Warden Eternal fights, I mean, COME ON, that ‘boss’ appeared like 6 times) constantly just to find out
Cortana has gone insane and is now the villain in Halo 5. Not to mention another Halo ring being thrown into the mix, leaving for even MORE stuff that is going to be in the next game. The whole game was just a setup, which I hate.

Exactly can you people not remember the halo 3 trailer whete chief uses the bubble and fights the brutes…?

Well man, one thing is take seriously a trailer and another thing is that the trailer is completely different to the Campaign…

Don’t know about you, but thats exactly what i did in H3’s campaign. Used a bubble shield to fight against a brute.
when i got to the end of halo 5 i was more shoked by the ending i loved that it became a story about cortana. but it also left me feeling empty going is this trailer “hunt the truth” really whats going to happen in halo 6 or is it just a market ploy either way i wouldve loved to of ended locks life. NO ONE punches the chief and gets away with it!
Hunt the Truth was awesome. I think I listened through it like 3 times. It made me SUPER pumped about Halo 5’s campaign story. I think it’s the reason why I felt like Halo 5’s storyline was subpar.
