Hello Halo CE, 2, 2A, 3, and 4 players. Do you really love TMCC? Let’s check!

Do you get mad when someone plays Halo 5, and you think that game is cancer or something else you think of? That’s one.

Do you think it’s crazy that Halo 5 takes up more space than 4 Halo games put into one copy? That’s another one.

Do you not have friends that play TMCC anymore but used to play it alot before Halo 5 came out? Wow, another point.

Do you sometimes think that Halo 5 is even a Halo game? Omg… if you said yes then you got another point.

Do you get fed up with people voting some halo game that you hate? (Example, Halo 3 almost all the time in BTB) Yep, another point for you if you said yes to that!

Do you just hate 343 because of the things they done to Halo 5, when they are supposed to be doing in Halo: TMCC? That, is a 2 pointer.

Nope. Contrary to popular belief, Halo 5 ain’t a bad game at all - as such, I’ve never really had a problem with people playing it. Having said that, Guardians isn’t a patch on the four preceding entries (five counting Reach).

Hell yes. Still waiting for the day somebody uncovers a secret folder in that game loaded with cat videos - that’s the only explanation I’m left with.

No, mostly because none of my friends play Halo - they’re COD guys through and through. I have a grand total of one buddy that owns MCC and another who owns Guardians – how’s that for lonely?

Nope - H5 is still a Halo game through and through. Old dog, new tricks.

YES.
Halo 3 is not a bad game by any means - it was basically my childhood - but when I see effing -Yoink- happening like Big Team Slayer on Valhalla getting picked over BTB CTF on Blood Gulch (repeatedly) it makes me mad. I had the highlight of this garbage happen earlier today when Coagulation got picked over Avalanche, only for everyone who voted for Avalanche to quit thus canceling the game. Urgh.

Two points for me. The stuff they’re adding to Halo 5 is certainly welcome, but it doesn’t negate the fact that MCC is still broken a year and a half after release.

I scored four, so I guess I’m right on the nose; however, I will say that I like Master Chief Collection a smidge more than Halo 5. Guardians is just as high-octane as it is high-stress - for all the pins and whistles added to the Halo formula I just never feel like I’m having fun (except in Warzone, that crap is great). Conversely, the previous entries (yes, even you Halo 4) know exactly the right buttons to push, so much so that I’m willing to overlook a half–Yoinked!- matchmaking system that still doesn’t work as it should.

I love MCC and 343’s mishandling of the franchise is why I haven’t nor will ever buy Halo 5. I hate Halo 4 as well.

Yeah too bad the game is a shadow of what the original releases were. But hey it’s only like 16 months after launch… their still workin’ out the kinks… …

I wouldn’t say I hate Halo 4, but I dislike it the most in the MCC, and kind of wish Halo 4’s MP wasn’t in the game lol…

Love Halo 1-3 more then Halo 5. Halo 5 is a good game, but I’d be playing MCC over Halo 5 if it worked

why? they removed all the bad features from h4 in tmcc. h4 mcc is actually decent.

MCC ftw but I don’t mind H5. I just prefer classic Halos tho cause they are better games hands down. Hope we get an update soon…

I’m not necessarily a hater, but I certainly love classic Halo more than Halo of Duty: Spartan Ops 5.

To me, the sprinting and armor abilities are just as bad as the loadouts and ordinance drops.

I like Halo 1 through 3 as well though at this point I’m seriously sick of Halo 3 getting chosen over Halo 1 and 2. Heck people somehow think Valhalla King of the hill with Assault Rifle starts is a good game or better than Halo CE or Halo 2 classic big team Slayer on about any map. I really don’t get it.

Does this happen only when Halo CE or Halo 2 are deathmatch? Because I can see people choosing Halo 3 only for the objective game modes. Personally, I wish that there was a dedicated objective playlist for each game.

Not always, heck Halo 3 Slayer ALWAYS gets picked when it’s an option even if we have Halo 2 Big team Slayer on Headlong and Halo CE Big team CTF on Ice Fields or Halo CE CTF on Blood Gulch as alternate options. I’m sorry people who love Halo 3 above anything else, but I’m always going to choose Halo 1 and 2 over 3. Now if we got to a point where 1 and 2 were chosen all the time I might throw out a vote for Halo 3 every now and then but as it stands, how Halo 3 gets picked almost every big team match, Halo 1 and 2 all the way.

Same, love Halo before 4, 5. It was such an inspiring series where everything about it was iconic. 4, 5 just feels like they don’t belong, even the music is far superior in the original trilogy.

Oh okay then. Yeah, #combatevolvedmasterrace, amiright? I just thought that the only reason anybody would choose Halo 3 objective would have been because the other options were slayer matches. That’s how I would see it.

Well I tend to avoid slayer whenever possible since I like my games to have something to aim for instead of k/d. Sure I can get a good K/D but rather do something meaningful. I prefer Halo MCC because I know the games of the trilogy are more balanced, are actually fun to play, I find whenever I play 4 or 5 it stress’s me out way too much…even if I’m the top player on the winning team, I’ve even been asked why I was complaining and I told them “because it felt like CoD”, which is why I have hard time tolerating the changes in Halo 4,5. I stick by the fact that if Halo 4 or 5 was my first then I would never play online ever because the games are too campy, while MCC has everything that was iconic, loveable. Even the art-style of Halo 4,5 are drastically worse, not sure why they needed to change so many iconic designs for the sake of change, when the redesigns of enemy’s like the grunt were clearly worse. There’s other problems with Halo 4 ditched the iconic theme, yet it barely had any memorable themes then Halo 5 came back with the iconic main theme and yet there were no original iconic themes made for Halo 5 that I can even remember.

The main reason why I like Halo MCC more is because is has proper Halo games but even they it’s half the games since the whole unlocking system by skill was removed, replaced by everything automatically being unlocked, which is why the 360 games were better except is better in some ways because it means I can play all the proper Halo games multiplayer/campaign but it really depends on if they fix the broken campaign lobby system, I hear they removed LAN support which has killed gaming events and means gamers that go to conventions can’t enjoy classic Halo games but instead were forced to play Halo 4 instead. Halo 5 is repeating the same mistakes, yet 343i are learning nothing from the mistakes of Halo MCC or Halo 4. Halo 5 maybe rehashing countless textures skins but that doesn’t mean anything if they can’t even the get the core game mechanic’s right like how the BR, etc… are now overpowered against vehicles where a banshee or a tank can be destroyed on spawn in a matter of seconds in Warzone.

Another thing I love about Halo MCC is I know when I play the game that I can play the game offline due to split-screen and I can play countless AAA quality forge maps…meanwhile Halo 5 is online only for most of the game types including forge which is ridiculous and yet the game is over-saturated with mostly forge maps online and barely any content like playing the same 3-4 maps on Warzone and nothing but Forge in BTB, game-types being late & unbalanced.
