Oh, and by the way - I made a post on the 343i forums about the playlists, you know to try and regain some sort of balance within them. I proposed a fairly logical argument, and this were the fanboy’s completely logical and well thought out responses.

  • Adapt
  • Get out of the game and play something else
  • The game is perfect shut the F up
  • You obviously didn’t play any of the playlists because they are perfect

Funny how these exact same things were said during Reach launch… and at what great success those well thought out responses got the game. Not one blind fanboy actually responded to my claims with any reason whatsoever, yet they are ones being listen to. Disgraceful.

And seriously, anybody who defends Spartan Op’s in it’s current state is brain dead. The missions are literally the same as the first set but backwards. Formula for each mission:

  1. Massive amounts of enemies spawn
  2. Press button
  3. More enemies
  4. Press another button?
  5. More enemies
  6. Extraction

It’s hardly a mission with a story-line at all, even if it is fun at times, but it’s only fun because you get to make your gun go pew pew and watch as enemies drop.

You know if you look at halo 4 as a game and not something that you play as an mmo rpg its not a bad game. People act as if halo 4 is the sonic 06 of the franchise and its not. No one says you need to play any halo every day. Adapt is a stupid comment, if you don’t like it don’t play it. I would not say get rid of it but not every game made will be to your liking. All I ask is people not judge the game only on match making and act like its sonic 06.

Don’t want to be all flaming you but grow up, if these “fanboys” annoy you so much, just ignore them. I look through a lot of threads and I don’t see many of them comments you supposedly quoted, so it’s not impossible to get along while ignoring them.

What exactly is the point of this thread? Yes, I read the whole thing and still don’t get what your going on about.

Are you complaining about people that defend 343i in complaint threads?

The game is far from perfect. I do find it fun unlike Reach. Never really liked Reach. I wish there was a playlist that was more like the old school Halo. Slayer Pro is not that playlist. Separate ranked and social playlists would be nice. I could live without all the gimmicky crap in the game but it’s not game breaking like it was in Reach. Lag needs to be worked out. The grenade button glitch is fun and I hope it stays. Instant respawn should go. 3 seconds minimum would work better. JIP has gotten better but it’s still meh. All of this is my opinion and yours may be different and that’s fine.

Of course you will find tons of Fan Boys but who cares. People who like this game are Fan Boys so I guess I am a Fan Boy just not one that defends everything.

My point is that not every one who defends the game is a Fan Boy and some like me who loves it and can’t waste 5 seconds of my time analyzing every map and game variant will pass over the non-sense like it is an ant hill on the side of the road.

I have read so many complaints but to me I just put the game in, choose a game and blast it up. I don’t worry about my stats and all the jazz. Don’t care. I like to do well but man I like to charge in a throw grenades or run after vehicles to sticky them. It is so fun and better than trying to avoid dying so I can boast about meaningless stats.

Wow when I die people will say, I was a good man but a great Halo Multiplayer. Common people it is a game for fun. Oh no look there are too many rocks in this level I hate it OMG. They should have put in an extra grav lift and a tank WTF were they thinking OMG they are clueless to “MY” ideas.

THis is how silly all the complaints are. Technical complaints have merit but if it is maps, make your own and if it is so great the community will let you know.

THis entire post is designed to create negative feedback, but yet, trys to call out anyone who gives negative feedback as a “fanboy”.

I believe this makes any argument you pose invalid, have a nice day.

I will start out by saying that Halo 4 is not perfect by any means. However, that doesn’t mean I do not enjoy it. However, you will get many posts about how bad a new release is ever time a new game gets released.

I will defend Spartan Ops solely because I like having the option for co-operative gameplay. It may not be the Firefight gametype I enjoyed so much in Reach, but at least it gives me something different to do.

Furthermore, you should realize that the forum will have many people who have radically different opinions than you. I’ve been a bit mad a few times about seeing different views on what I felt should have been widespread criticism of the game, but I didn’t call anyone out on it; I just realized that I would have to deal with them and enjoy the game. If they’re flaming you, let them flame… you’re only feeding the trolls.
