If so, does it improve your game?
Takes a lot of getting used to. The paddles on the back are easy to hit accidentally, as are the bumpers, as they’re much easier to push than the normal pad. (I play with one finger on the trigger and another on the bumper, which exacerbates this somewhat)
Ultimately I think it’s worth the cash though. I’ve got the right stick swapped out for the longer one, which makes aiming a bit more subtle. Being able to effectively hit the face buttons without taking your hands off the sticks is really nice, really allows you to make full use of the new player abilities like the slide.
The trigger locks are nice, but it’s impossible to use the charge on the plasma pistol right now if you have them enabled. I tried messing with the sensitivity settings but no joy. A minor issue though

You can fix the setting for the plasma pistol. Change the right bar of the trigger sensitivity from 20 to 10. This will make a half pull of the trigger count as a pull pull, and fix the issue. Not sure what you did since videos I have seen show this as the solution. I look forward to buying one of these controllers.
Yeah I don’t have that kind of cash to blow on a controller, $60 is plenty enough for something that’s going to wear out in under a year.

That solved it, thanks. I did try messing around with it originally, but admittedly I didn’t spend a ton of time doing so. It’s possible I might have been editing the second configuration, and testing on the first by mistake.
This is my 2cents on this …
I visited the Microsoft Store (Toronto, ON) when they had the Halo5 Launch and found that they do have a demo … so I end up testing it for about an hour and was surprised that it’s a solid controller, so much better than any other controller.
A few days before this, one of my friends told me that if PS would have their own version he would get 2 for himself. I never think anything of this until I tried the demo.
I play for 2 - 4 hours a day and you can see the major improvement, specially the Large Thumbstick on the right side as well as the Trigger buttons (configured only to work at 50% capacity). Watching the video, will not make any difference, but testing it - will make a huge difference!!
It will after they fix the diagonal sensitivity issue. Can’t even trick the system!
If you put it on Southpaw, you see LS aims smoothly. Swap the RS and LS in the Xbox Accessories and keep the sticks in Southpaw and the RS’s diagonal inputs are back to extremely minimal.
