Do you pay attention to the Challenges as far as getting the XP points?
Yup, most of the time.
I only pay attention to weekley and monthly. Maybe a few daily, but they are usually about 1000-2000 XP, so I don’t even bother.
I did…till I hit SR 130. Now they are worthless.

No, I don’t play the game anymore. Minecraft and Battlefield 3 are my games. And probably Madden after Christmas.
I did, but then I noticed a lack of a local only search filter. So I stopped caring about the game.
Only on Mondays. That’s when I get the Campaign and Spartan Ops Challenges out of the way.

never did in loreach and don’t in Halo 4 either. I could care less about xp and a progressive ranking system.
if anything I like to go as slow as I can and avoid as many challenges as possible.
Didn’t you love that King of the Hill daily challenge that was not achievable because they took that playlist out? I laughed pretty hard at that LOL

Yup, always do. It’s not even for the xp but to at least get something done fully.

You could do it in the Crimson Map Pack. Then again, I don’t even bother with the DLC because they suck.
18 regicides in a game is impossible to achieve.
Not nearly as much as I did in Reach. I get a steady supply from Fast Track, and the challenges are usually just something I happen to get without actually going for them.
I wonder what will happen to challenges, as leveling up in H4 is pretty fast-paced, and many people will be capped after a bit.
No, I find myself ignoring them most of the time. It’s not intentional I just don’t keep them in mind while I play.
I check them out.
If it is the automatic weapon kills, I go into FFA Regicide
If it is sidearm kills I go into SWAT
If it is X headhots in a single game I go SWAT
If it is X killing sprees or multikills I go into BTB
I ignore the “Win X gametype”, because if I don’t want to play Oddball, I simply won’t play oddball. The amount of points you get is meaningless too. In the time that it would take to WIN (Not play, but win) 3 objective based games, I could’ve just played SO and gotten significantly more XP.
The campaign ones are a -Yoinking!- waste of time if you have XBL Gold. The time it takes to do the mission, compared to the bonus given, it just isn’t worth it by comparisson to the other options (Again if you’re on silver and can’t do matchmaking, it would be different)
Now you could argue that the ones I do go for are a waste of time too. I suppose they are, but I do them because I can typically do them on the first match. Even the Perfection daily challenge wasn’t much of an issue, I just went into BTB and got it with my clan.
Some area easy as heck, but I wouldn’t get them unless I was deliberately trying to get them (Like the automatic or sidearm)
Every little bit helps I suppose, but ultimately most people will be at SR130 in under 3 months, so it isn’t a huge incentive.
