Do you miss playable elites?

I sure do :frowning:

We all do

I didn’t like the option at all. They looked stupid and out of place. However I respect the large number of people who did like it and think 343 should add it back in H5

Hopefully they’ll be able to add them in halo 5 due to the story more than likely including the arbiter and his elite friends since the main reason the weren’t in was due to the infinity storyline

True but surely as MM is a simulation it wouldn’t be unthinkable to add playable elites, I mean we have playable flood so why not?

I forgot it was a thing. The only Halo games I have went back to since Halo 4 have been Halo PC, Halo 2(Nobody uses Dinos on PC), ODST, and an odd few games of MLG Reach.

Fair point my friend

Also hope in halo 5 they use the elite models from reach (updated of course) since they looked cooler and hopefully they can have separate colours to your spartan colours since I had to change them around loads if I were to play as one

I agree  Good god the elites look crappy in Halo 4. In Reach they actually looked big and scary.

I was in an Elite-only clan for both Halo 2 and Halo 3. I quit the clan just before Halo: Reach came out, but still preferred to play the Sangheili in that game anyways. I totally miss them.

Hopefully the PR will return along with either the Plasma repeater or the storm rifle since they filled in as the elites auto rifle where as the PR was essentially their side arm which was a huge rifle for the puny grunts

I miss the comedy grunts so much aswell :((((

Hahaha

“Da good ol’ days” :frowning:

The Elites in Halo: Reach and Halo Wars were by far the best looking. They were fast, monstrous, and menacing. Can’t get a better enemy than that.

The ones in Halo 4 make biological sense as saurians. Past elites are very similar to humans in parts of their bodies, but Halo 4’s actually give them their own unique biology. Plus, elites in Halo 4 actually have lips on their mandibles, something past elites didn’t really have. Reach elites can’t even seal their mandibles.

What I want most is a darker skin tone to the elites, their Halo 4 look continued for the most part, and for better armor (I’ll admit, the Halo 4 elite armor aint so great).

i prefer that as long as the armour is like reach’s then thats fine since thats the only thing I dont like about the appearance in halo 4 (its a big difference though

not really
I couldn’t care less.

Not saying elites weren’t cool looking, they just never had the same level of customization. Headshots from behind were also a -Yoink-

A chunk of us do.
