I think challenges from Halo Reach were a pretty cool idea that made you playing more and more.
Maybe these challenges would be well in Halo 5, due to the Req Points.
A good example could be:
Kill 20 enemies with the Pistol → 1000 Req Points.
I’d definitely love to see the return of challenges, they’d be a meaningful and fun addition to the REQ Point system. I can only hope that 343i will include them in the Memories of Reach update coming soon!
I loved challenges, especially for campaign. It gave the campaign a higher replay value. Whether it be for REQ points or XP, I’d love to seem them return.
Some variation on them would be nice. My biggest issue with the reach challenges was how repetitive they got after a while. I would like something else to do, but it would be nice if they weren’t all Kill x with Y or finish mission Z on legendary with this skull.
Daily wins are nice but challenge would be better. Rewards could be req or xp point. Monthly challenges could be req packs.
Yes, bring back weekly and monthly challenges. Leave the Daily Win Pack the way it is, just add something more.

Yeah, I think weekly and monthly challenges would be great in Halo 5! I really like the idea of the challenges being for the campaign. Again, as stated already, the “Memories of Reach” update would be a perfect time to add them in.

Yeah, they should come back. But I think that they should not give REQ points, or at least give a small amount.
I think it would be awesome as well. If anything it will keep some players playing the game that might otherwise be switching to other games soon.

Don’t piss away your Halo time chasing after some meaningless status symbol. Play because you love the game, and when you’ve had enough for one night then go to bed. Own the game. Don’t let the game own you.

Sometimes I miss the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Challenges because It gave me something to do when I got bored, I really hope they brig them back for Warzone: Firefight because it would keep it alive longer.
One of the reasons Challenges are gone is that Reach implemented them as a complete package though campaign, multiplayer, and the other modes as one whole experience.
Halo 4 and 5 have a clear separation of church and state when it comes to campaign and multiplayer so It’s highly unlikely that challenges will return unless there is a change in 343i’s philosophy.
Also the commendations have people grinding dumb stuff already.
