It would be appreciated if you could explain your decision in the replies.
am new here. it’s a little unintuitive. forums links below forums links at the top of the page are a little off.
font size for the links used to navigate the forum you’re actually in are really small compared to pretty much everything else on the screen.
all in all, the top of the page feels maybe a little too busy. especially since the hovering banner changes to different navigation links. otherwise, seems pretty clean. surface level experience though. Would’ve picked the meh option but not available

The new UI is ok, but the old one was way more accesible, user friendly and much easier to navigate

The old one is considered out dated by most conversationalist. Where Waypoint is now is less of a learning curve and easier to navigate objectively; I do find this design is better than the old one but some things are missing that really tied this experience together.
- Forum Badges are not the same and did not carry over
- Halo gamer score is no longer available
- Halo stats are not unison to the site; clear split between Forum and main site
- No Spartan Companies
- No Halo archives or lore page
It would be cool if they went for a more thematic resonance using in-universe Waypoint chat but this its probably the closest to it.
UGC and more was added more recently though, I consider Waypoint a complete site regardless of the missing features because it does what it needs to do. Other sites exist for these missing features from Halopedia to Lysithea.ai for Spartan Companies.
