I don’t think it’s a “Pay to win” system like some people believe. It shouldn’t really harm game play, but if I had the option, I’d keep it out. Luckily it’s limited to Warzone only and we get free DLC as a result. So all in all, Halo 5 is still muy bueno.
Of course! It’s a fun way to actually receive the gear you want. Rather than the typical “here’s some armor” or “cool, a new pose” everyone receives different items and each pack, and you have no clue what you’re gonna get.

The armour, skins, stances and assassination animations go across Arena and Warzone

It makes every time you get a pack Christmas!
I’m super excited! It reminds me of PvZ Garden Warfare’s Sticker packs, which were extremely fun to unlock and see what you got from them. I think it will make the game much more re-playable and will keep me playing for years.
I dislike it. Not because it’s a bad or unfair system or anything like that. It’s well balanced and its a cool way to give players small ‘rewards’ for playing the game… But I personally don’t like it because I’m a hoarder - in real life and video games. Always afraid to spend for fear of running out when I need it. I’ll probably end up with hundreds of the rarest cards, just because I’ll never use them
Meh.
In Battlefield 4 I’d constantly open packs and get skins that I didn’t want, while the skins I actually wanted always eluded me.
I’d say I don’t understand why they don’t simply let you buy the skins you want instead of having to buy packs, but the sad truth is I DO understand. It’s to keep players constantly buying the packs and gambling. Battlefield did it, CSGO did it, and now Halo is doing it.
As for the weapon and vehicle cards, I’d have to see how it works. Warzone will be broken as a gamemode if those aren’t things you frequently get. If I only got one weapon every time I leveled up then I’d run out of weapons pretty fast. If I get them every few minutes for just playing the game it’s not an issue.

but weapon skins only mods game play in warzone, skins are cosmetic in arena.

I agree with this guy.
