I am pretty sure THAT IS NOT A PLACEHOLDER, because BS Angel said in several bulletins back that the BR sounded amazing. 343i will only change this if a multiple of people don’t like it.

I personally do not, and don’t even go off on the tangent that I’m a “hater”. I am most certainly not a Halo 4 “hater” and have in fact expressed my approval for Halo 4.

Well if they recorded the sound so they weapons sound like real life Weapons, like in Halo CEA, then yeah, I’m all for it. Yes I know people don’t like realistic things in their Halo, but then again, I don’t like using weapons that sound fake, underpowered, paintball guns. I’m one of those people who has used real life weapons, know how they feel, how they act, how they sound, and I can’t really get into a game when I use weapons that don’t sound right.

Why would you ask us if we like an alpha, overly compressed version of the sound? even Frank O Conor said the sound doesnt even do the BR justice compared to the uncompressed version.

The sound was made by a real military-issued weapon.
If a real weapon doesn’t sound awesome, nothing does imo.

Also, you people do realize that it’s not entirely finished, right?
Listen to it, at the end of each burst, the pitch gets higher.
It should get lower according to most other FPS games.
Once they fix that, it’ll sound better.
