Do you like losing ?

I’ve played over 600 Warzone games and not once have I played a game where we had lost all the bases did we win, not once when when all the team left the bases and go chase the aliens have I won!
I know it’s meant to be fun just to play but winning makes it the little bit nicer … So why do people chase aliens when in do so the odds are stacked against winning ?

So bases only need 2 to hold off the enemy but I’ve been in games where even while the base is under attack people have run out the base to go chase alien!

Couple of points
ONE) Bases score over time but keeps scoring until you lose it, so once captured you will be getting points.
TWO) Killing an alien earn instant points but when attacking the enemy gets the chance to steal that point with the “Kill shot” which means you earn nothing.
THREE) By capturing more bases you have more options as to where you spawn.
FOUR) Once the other team as a lead of 300 points and only 300 points form winning the only hope to win is to take the core out mean you need the bases the Warden ( random chance kill ) will not be enough.

Chase the aliens if you like but I’ll rather take bases in the aim to win !

IF ANYONE AS EVER WON WITH NO BASES SHOW US !?

You only need to hold one base, bosses are infinitely more important to winning. But I’d imagine everyone has their own strategies.

Winning may not be the main goal of all your team members. It’s a casual game type (supposedly) and I have played many games where I needed a certain boss kill, weapon or vehicle kill, etc for commendations and that was my main goal, winning was secondary.

Kill two legendary bosses and BOOM! you’ve got yourself a 300 point lead. How many seconds would you have had to successfully defend two bases to rack up that many points? I get what you say about it being a random chance kill, and that it could all be for nothing by taking the risk, but the kill also goes towards commendations that some people, including myself, try to complete.

To prove your second sentence correct, I heavily disagree. Holding bases accumulates points over time. I forgot how many per-second or what the rate really is, but it’s incredibly advantageous to hold two bases.

Raid on Apex 7, for example, it’s a totally worthy trade-off if the enemy team gets Rok and your team manages to grab Spire while they’re all gone. Spire isn’t easy to take, and it’ll pay for itself. Not to mention the superior spawn point you have that is in close proximity/view of 85% of the bosses on the map, and close to both armories.

Long story short: Bases > Bosses

Of course, this is all circumstantial. But this is a general rule.

I concur.

Also, no, I don’t like losing.

As a person said on Xbox a very long time ago “Dying isn’t fun” yeah sometimes you can laugh but if you lose 20 matches in a row it can get frustrating.

Holding two bases gives you a better chance of spawning nearer an enemy. For example on Stormbreak, holding the Fortress assures you a good shot at the legendary banshee and a quicker trip to Warden.

On Apex 7, holding the Spire means you can rush to the back of it to kill the two legendaries there and Warden.

Noctus, same deal with the Monument.

I’ll see your 600 games and raise you another 600. I lone wolf it, and have been in games where we got triple capd, and have come back to win.
I used to feel as you do, but have learned that it takes very little time to kill the non legendary bosses. I agree bases give you more points and can be strategically advantageous, but have been in plenty of games where the enemy had the major base, (Spire, fortress, garage) and lost.

I love those times when I’m just so…blah. Like last night, I was so trash at the game because I hadn’t touched a video game in a few days. I had fun though.

Losing is part of life and video games, teaches you a few things.
What you did wrong and how you should really rethink how you lost in the first place.

You don’t take and hold bases for points. You take them to establish map control. The points are just icing on the cake.

I honestly couldnt care less as long as im having fun.

I don’t mind losing as long as the game was still fun. Also boss kills > capturing bases… legendary boss kills are the key to winning the game pretty much as well.

Elite Prime is a distraction from capturing the Monument. You may say that it “doesn’t take that long” but approaching the monument from the bottom is an awful tactic. Plus, he takes enough time that by the time you get there, you’re entering a pitched battle that you don’t have your bearings on.

I don’t care what people say, I will always advocate capturing the Monument over killing Elite Prime. Skip him. You’ll earn more points by controlling the center.

Priority 1) Get capture and defend 2 bases.
Priority 2) Get to where the bosses spawn right before they spawn, you can get insta kills on some of them with certain weapons.

I can’t tell you how many times we’ve won just holding a base and going after bosses lol. The point benefit of holding bases seems non existent to me.

when it comes to warzone, I honestly can are less if I win or lose. I like to play it because I like using the reqs on enemies and the bosses. Holding two bases will help you win the game, but i have been in games where the match has been decided by killing bosses over and over again.

Are you kidding? I love losing, that’s why I dropped out of high school, and took up drugs! Winners are the true losers here.

Not serious at all.
