Love it.
Yep, I like H4. There are few problems with it, but who cares?

I cares. This game was the first Halo game that was a true disappointment to me.
Like I’ve been saying, Halo 4 lacks more features from previous games than it’s gained. That is a huge problem for a sequel, and one of the main reasons why it isn’t being successful.

Maybe I’m enjoying Halo 4 just because I only played Halo 3, ODST and Reach… I don’t mind features H4 is lacking. If I want to play Firefight, I go to ODST or Reach. If I want to play competitive MP, I choose H3. If I want to play some crazy custom games with my friends or quests, I choose between all Halo games I have (excluding ODST, of course). In other words, I play what I want to play.
Or maybe there’s something wrong about me…
No. How could anyone is their right mind say yes?

Looking at poll Hmmm…

Come on now, because you dislike it does not warrant attacks on others.
Seems like an odd question if you don’t like Halo 4, why play it? Granted that isn’t the question of the poll but it always baffles me why people play a game and state that they don’t like the game in general. Remember you can like parts of a game.

Nothing is wrong with liking what you like. Don’t let anyone else tell you that.

Good to see someone else like this on the forums.
YES!
But 343 still needs to learn but i dont take them responsible for it
I like Halo 4, but it still needs some improvements…

“Hear, hear!”
Wow, I must say I’m pretty shocked at how many people on this forum don’t actually like the game! Pretty disappointing to see
I voted ‘Yes’ by the way!

Keep in mind part of the reason why people don’t like the game is because they loved Halo, 2, or 3 and because this game is different than them they don’t like it because of that reason. Paradox? Yes, but there are people who will pay full price for a game that is just updated graphics and new maps on top of old code.

My problem is that Halo 4 should’ve been the culmination of over a decades worth of work. It wasn’t, we have to go between Halo games to play the things we like, it shouldn’t be like this.
All Halo 4 offered was a decent campaign and 3 new gamemodes, while excluding the features from past games forcing us to keep going back. I wouldn’t mind going back for nostalgia, but when I have to go back to enjoy the gametypes and features I liked that’s a problem.
A sequel is supposed to build off of it’s predecessors, Halo 4 failed at that.
A simple NO from me.
Yes, it’s an enjoyable game. If someone doesn’t likes it, I respect his/her opinion, the problem is that most (notice that I say most, not all) of the people who “don’t enjoy it” lack of a real argument. In fact, most of them just lost a match because someone got an ordnance, and immediately post in here “OMG THIS GAME IS SO BROKEN, REAL HALO FANS WOULDN’T PLAY IT”.
Ironically, they will continue to play it. I’m dead serious, some guy told me last month that he didn’t play as much as he did the previous titles, and he played on a daily basis. Can’t think of how much time he spent on the original trilogy if he didn’t “play as much as he did in the past”.

Though I accept your opinion, there are few things I don’t agree with.
I don’t know if H4 should be the culmination of all the work Bungie did with Halo so far, but as long it isn’t the final part of Halo series, I don’t think it should be the culmination of everything we saw so far in this beloved video game saga.
As far I seen, Halo games have always been about big amount of content. Halo 4 stands up to the tradition of it’s predecessors: we got 6-10 hours long campaign, multiplayer mode (for the first time with back-story!), episodic Spartan Ops (which is even longer than ODST, and free), custom game options (not as advanced as in previous titles, but still) and forge mode, which is basically a map and game mode editor. Yep, I know a lot of stuff have been left behind, but we still got a lot of content, which is very nice nowadays, when a lot of games are just ones we can beat in less than 5 hours and then never play them again.
And finally, there isn’t a holy rule, that defines, how good sequel should look like, my friend
I hope you’ll accept my opinion, because I did that with yours.
> Really people? So many of you thought the campaign was acceptable/ok/rubbish.
>
> I think a lot of people are very quick to claim they do not like this game, when in reality if you rebranded it as unrelated game you’d at the very least like it.
>
> Just because you would prefer it to be different is not the same as disliking it. There is not a single game that I play regularly (let alone frequent the forums of) that I do not like. If I did not like that game, I would not be playing it, and I certainly wouldn’t be wasting my time talking about it on a forum.
>
> I think some of you need to gain some perspective.

> As if 60% of people on the Halo Waypoint Forums do not like the game that the forum is solely devoted to. It sounds unbelievable, and I don’t for a second believe it.
Hence I don’t play this game anymore, and many others with me. Heck, I’ve only played this game around 30 hours, half of which was the campaign, and I play Halo for the multiplayer. I just couldn’t stand anymore of the frustration, anger and betrayal I felt while playing this game. I actually can’t remember any game I’ve bought which I’ve played less and hated more than this game. And I never ever thought that would happen with a Halo game, my most favourite gaming franchise, of which I consider Halo 2 to be the best game I’ve ever played, period.
I, and many others, are here to give feedback on Halo 4 so 343 can restore Halo to its former glory. We hate what 343 has done to Halo and we want changes, so everyone can enjoy Halo again. As it looks Halo 4 might not be possible, but perhaps Halo 5 can be better. It might seem hard for you to understand, but Halo 4 is not as beloved as you think and the population is a direct indicator of that. We want a better Halo, that’s why we’re here ‘wasting’ our time on this forum.
