Im seeing both an equal number of hate as i see love.
Remember the begining of the reveal vidoc, its subjective to change. Constructive criticism not flaming guys.
I’m seeing more love than hate. And even then, the Hate I see is illogical.
If I could have screamed with delight, I would’ve. I’ll probably just let my excitement build up and then go crazy later, but for now I’m just going to relax while I know that 343 has Halo in their hands and they are willing to do whatever it takes to make it amazing.
Like
-Graphics
-New spartan models
-BR return
-In game audio (weapon sounds)
-Music
Dislike
-Perk/Loadouts
-Random weapon spawns
-Sprint (not that big of a deal though)
So I can see 343 easily putting a lot of the hate to rest by just making sure there’s a classic playlist like in Reach where there aren’t as many random elements.
So far I’m liking it. But I’m a bit skeptical regarding the Progression System, Perks, and how the armour will have an effect to gameplay. Another thing that caught my attention was the return of the Battle Rifle. I just hope the weapons sandbox has a role in the game instead of one weapon ruling all.
Other than that, I’m liking it.
Bit of both for me. I quite like the new Mjolnir for the Chief, despite having those awful Gundam Wing style rockets on the back. As for the Battle Rifle… no… it looks like a kids toy gun, like a super soaker or something. In fact I’m not so keen on the artistic direction of Halo 4 altogether. Suddenly Chief has anime rocket packs, there are big war mechs… clearly someone at 343i is a big anime fan and doesn’t think that Halo should have its own unique style.
Not sure why they feel that multiplayer needs a backstory and justification for the reds fighting the blues. I suppose they will also provide backstory on how you can actually continuously respawn and why the flag always stands up? They should just leave multiplayer the way it is… players knocking the hell out of each other. No backstory is needed whatsoever. Oh and I have no clue why Spartan-IVs are now in Halo 4, no doubt they will somehow be part of this backstory… It’s a big virtual combat simulator for these brand new Spartan-IVs. Great.

That’s something I’m still confused about. Does it mean that if I want to make my spartan look a certain way then I have to deal with whatever effects the armor I chose has or is it like, you picked this perk so you’re character will have a bullet bandolier?

The only thing I could come up with is that they would introduce a small cinematic clip before the action starts regarding the objective of the MM game.

Well, we all know how badly Sarge hates the blues!

I’m not so sure. But I’ve been thinking on how the Loadouts/Perks system will work.
Perhaps 343 is planning using loadouts for a certain class of soldier? Specific Perks for each class loadout, maybe? I’m only speculating here, but this is how I’m imagining 343 is planning.
I honestly don’t know what to think right now. My mind has literally been numb this whole day from today’s H4 news. I kinda feel like i’m going crazy.
Sorry, The possibility of AA’s coming back and Perks ruined it for me.
Put I will not judge right now.
Im loving the BR but sprint, loadouts, and perks need to go or else Halo is gonna die.
It’s hard to tell so early.
Sounds cool, but doesn’t sound like Halo.
It seems like it could be fun, but it shouldn’t have the title of Halo.
Side note: I wish they would have an open beta.
Graphically speaking, the game looks great. That’s about all I’m liking so far, though.
I’m loving every single bit of it. It’s fresh and new
Just how I like my Halo!
I’ve been liking all I’ve heard and seen about making you feel like a supersoldier. Hearing the thud of boots on metal and seeing Chief do things that only a supersoldier can do. The real shame is that it’s starting to sound like we’ll be spectators to his impressive abilities – never being able to do the sorts of things he does in the books. Like sneaking whisper-quiet in half-tonne armour and kicking in an elite’s ribcage while its shields are up.
