I mean hype is just a marketing term. People are talking about the game. Good or bad, people are still talking about it. People wanting the game to be better still mean people want to play the game.
Go to any forum, for any game. Forums are where people come to vent their frustrations. Are you new to the internet?

Nothing, but its not impossible to be positive on a forum. I made this post because theres a few posts here and there that are straight up just people saying theyāre dropping the game.
Who cares if people are dropping the game, they are probably CoD players who have no loyalty to the franchise.
Yes, there are problems with the gameā¦ Every game does not launch smoothly with everything exactly how we want it. The game hasnāt even officially released and people are being this butthurt. If nothing is addressed and at least some sort of communication is placed on what their goal is I would consider it a big issue. But for them wanting Infinite to the the platform for the next decade, i would imagine they are going to do their best to please us, the consumers.

I like the game donāt really care about extra jewellery or make up im not buying, would like a main progression but 343 waits a while to finish games after release halo 4, 5, & mcc custom browser, forge, and main progression will come.
Iām actually starting to lose my enjoyment because of aim assist not working, some of the bad weapons, getting shot through walls, the challenges that are based on luck more than skill, long respawn time, weapon shots not working, not being able to unlock armor pieces for free, and overpowered frag grenades.
Nah, thereās plenty of people hyped for it. But just like everything else, the negative stuff gets all the attention. Here and on Reddit the only posts that stay at the top consistently are along the lines of Reach had everything for free why canāt Infinite, or something about aim assist or more MTX and on and on with the generally same posts repeating all day.
Waitā¦how can there be a robust weapon sandbox AND a limited weapon sandbox??

Im always excited to experience a new halo story, so yeah i cant wait for the campaign and judge by myself.
Now the mpā¦ yeah i have had enough already, I wont be touching it until they at least acknowledge its core problems and we get a decent revamp instead of ābandaidā fixes
I only want to play the campaign.
Multiplayer just isnāt interesting when no one cares about winning the match and only cares about completing challenges. It also sucks that everyone looks the sameā¦ on top of all that, Iām already bored of playing the same 5ish maps all the time.

Iām all for Infinite, just extremely let down by it. Although I donāt like the micro transactions, I donāt have to buy them, however I am stuck with the MP options they have implemented and those arenāt great.
This will DEFINITELY be another Halo 5, MCC story where it becomes amazing over time, just disappointed that it has to be this way again.
This honestly feels like every other halo title Iāve played. Random players have always been stupid.
The playlists definitely need to be narrowed down, but I can see them wanting to have all the modes rotated through prior to launch to figure things out and have people experience them all. Iād probably never touch the power seeds game otherwise.
Not really. If they fix the monetization Iāll reconsider, but for now Iāll play the campaign and thatās it.
There are thousands playing it every day and enjoying the experience.
Most of the people seeking out the forums are wanting to highlight a problem/issue or express dissatisfaction.
So this place will give you a skewed perspective.

No, everyone in my friends list have already moved on from Halo, cod and BF2042. Most are tired of the lack of polish and content, which i agree.
I feel like at a minimum, they need a hopper for Slayer game types. I feel like most of the time people are there for Slayer regardless of what game type they were put in.
