So long that those of us “true” fans of thos franchise continue to play, i dont see the game dying anytime soon.
Currently have all my time wrapped up with fallout 4 but once that’s out of the way I’ll be putting all my efforts back into halo. I think it’s generational thing, I’m 23 and played the heck out of halo 3 not 2 owned a ps2. Like I’m talking I had at least 40 days playing time. These kids today play destiny and cod. That’s just the cold truth. The ones like me work and can only game so much.
I still play even though I have fall out as well its normal for population to drop a little especially with all these games coming out

I haven’t had an issue getting into a game. Yes, Fallout 4 came out and I am sure loads of people went running to that and COD came out but I still just see Halo 5 doing just fine when it comes to Multiplayer and I am sure it’ll continue to be more than fine.
If it is dying it doesn’t change the fact that it is probably one of the best Halo game out there. I am so glad 343 redeemed themselves with Halo 5 (Not saying Halo 4 was bad but it wasn’t the best).

In my opinion I think it’s the respawn that drives most people away because when I am playing slayer with my friends I spawn closer to the enemy then I do my team mates
It’s been like two -Yoinking!- weeks. Jesus.
Is it losing steam? Yes. There are a lot of people who are moving on to other games. However, Halo is Halo. Players will step away from games to return to Halo because it is a consistent competitive experience (at least when compared to some others). I could go to BO3 and rage, or I could play some SWAT and win or lose based on my team’s skill rather than the luck of kill streaks.
A lot of games are going to come out and draw attention away, but Halo 5 will still remain.

Yes and no. One of my go to gamers has been on Fallout 4 for the past 4 days with no stop to play anything else (trust me I’ve tried). However, he tells me when he’s done he will return. Quite unfortunate for those of us who are staying loyal 
Lol you guys are too funny…the population is NOT dying. Game is amazing and people love it. Stop it with these crap posts. The game is just starting to gear up especially with BTB coming next week. 343i is doing an amazing job supporting the game.
I have blops3 and the game doesnt even come close to the mp in Halo. Halo’s smooth gameplay and dedicated servers on on another level. Cod is the same as every year. The expensive dlc that cod charges their players is sad especially when you consider we are getting tons for free.
So please stop it with these posts…all these haters and jealous people will not kill Halo.

I am really sad if this is dying this fast after it’s release. It’s such a great game that I hope it’s a temporary fall do to the other big releases that have recently happened.
It would be fine if they just gave us gametypes, and not just for the weekend.
Meh, minor turn off for me was that customization was too limited. Only to helmet and full body armor. At least let shoulder customizations… Shouldn’t even hurt processing power that much. Other than that, finding games are quick. People are anxious for new content but its taking awhile. However its coming in 2 more days. Shame that there was no preview for some new Warzone maps…
