My first Halo game to get 100% completion in was CEA also. Then I got all the rest in Reach, then ODST and then Halo Wars (apart from 1)
Yes, I will be going for all the achievements. I have most of them in the Halo series. Think I’m missing 5 out of all of them. But I find Halo to be worth it, so I’ll spend the time to gather up those achievements.

Me i need only three all for halo wars but i have Halo Anniversary Halo 3 ODST and Reach all maxed out. I want to be the first one with all Halo 4 achievements i got more then half the Halo reach achievements the first few days.
I have all the achievements in Halo 3, ODST, and Halo 2 PC. I’ve never played Wars, and I don’t have Anniversary, so I’m missing those in Reach.
I have all of Halo 3’s Achievements (first done).
I have all of CEA’s Achievements (second done).
I am missing 1 Achievement for Halo Wars (reaching General).
I am missing 1 Achievement for ODST (Vidmaster Highway).
I am missing 2 Achievements for Reach (both Defiant DLC).
I’m so close, yet so far away it seems. I plan on getting them all before Halo 4 comes out.
Halo campaign achievements are always the ones I wanna get but the Multiplayer always seem ether too rare to happen or just simply too easy.
Yeah, I’ll try to have them all before Halo 4 is release. Halo Wars is simple grind (+ DLC, but that’s easy), Halo CEA is once again just to play the game ^^
Reach on the other hands is the 1 in a billion chance to get the right map, a good team, and the right objective. Freaking impossible despite searching for weeks, blam! DLc map and objective specific Achievements!
Well, I am for sure getting all the achievements. No matter how hard they are, no matter how long they take. I am simply addicted to achievements, and I want all of them.
I have got every achievement in every Halo game, except for the General and DLC achievements for Halo Wars.
In every Halo shooter I even got all the DLC achievemts.
I also try to get all the Halo 2 Vista achievements until the launch of Halo 4.
Actually, I want to see really hard achievements, which are really challenging.
But not like “Kill 10000 enemies” - achievements where you just need to play, but achievemts like the Vidmaster Achievements. Endure, Annual, Firefight achievemts in ODST,…
I loved doing these. 
And yes, I am definetly going to get all the achievements. 
If I like the game I’ll get every achievement.

I did Halo Reach on Legendary as soon as I picked it up and completed it in 14 hours and about 34 mins. While doing so I hunted for every possible achievement and got most of them.
I’ll be getting all the Halo 4 achievements Without a doubt. I’ve gotten them all so far, (including HW General) and I look forward to earning some more in Halo 4. I hope there’s some tough ones in Campaign or spartan ops.

I have halo 3, ODST fully done on two accounts most of reach working on CEA. I like to have them done but in the end I dont care.

I’d persevere if I were you, I’ve heard a lot of mixed messages about Halo 2 Vista working on Windows 7, there may be a solution you haven’t tried yet.

I have no issues playing on windows 7…whats wrong with yours?
I have all from Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: CEA but I need the All Alone achievement in Reach (I never get Condemned).
I haven’t played Halo Wars yet but may do so in the next week.

The error message says “LIVE Gaming on Windows failed to initialize. This may be because another LIVE Gaming on WIndows Application (such as the Halo 2 dedicated server) is running on the same machine. Otherwise, reinstalling the game may fix this problem.”
I googled this problem when I saw it, couldn’t find an answer.
Well OP, I don’t particularly strive to get achievements if the chance to get them is plentiful in multiple playlists. Why? Because I know I’ll eventually get it. But if its restricted to a single gametype in a non-dlc playlist requiring DLC to get the achievements similarly to “All Alone” - Be the last man standing in a infection game on a Defiant map, I’ll strive very hard to get it, but if I fail at it, then I’m going to see where the system can be exploited to make it easier for “achieving”. This does not include boosting, but going into matchmaking with a full squad of DLC randoms (recent players list) is always a good strategy.
