Really appreciate this response, thank you
I will acknowledge and say that I have seen a response to community feedback on Halo Infinite, it is simply a matter of determining where it has come from
Those being: adding the Team Slayer playlist, somewhat player collision against enemy team, adding Fiesta BTB to the social playlist rotation etc
I have personal thoughts on the playlist rotation system, but that is for another thread’
Thank you for bringing those points forward regarding “343 typically ignores their fans and audience, even mocking us at times with a superiority complex”
I do see their perspective, however agree that they have a duty to take the higher ground and not succumb to that negative attitude/feedback; that being counterproductive & not constructive. They may be getting a ‘haha’ at ‘getting back at them’ but at what cost?
I feel that what tends to happen is that only a certain majority of feedback will adhered to, only at connivence or opinion of the development team. I agree and do appreciate this, however when there is a majority of the community leaning toward a specific idea or opinion, then it is definitely worth addressing
Referring to other ideas, but what I feel is and was most important to the community at the time: Halo Infinite NOT being released with Forge or Split Screen. Understanding that corporate interest would be tied into the mix, but the community needed a proper and official address for this, not just a sentence in a Halo Infinite update video
Thanks again for the feedback @RamboBambiBambo, appreciate it
@RBaziFX great point, completely forgot that 343 did that for Reach. Looked it up then’
@Spikanor I agree that there should be more interaction from the moderators on the Waypoint Forums, as that’s how they were recognised in the first place
I feel that they do not owe anyone anything however, as they be far more busy and are only able to dedicate so much time to Waypoint without burning out
This is a perception as I don’t know what it is like be a moderator, however from personal experience, this doesn’t mean that people have to burnout from being in a position of ‘authority’ and then have to eject a majority of their time as a consequence; it’s a matter of how they handle themselves
In conclusion to this point, idealistically, I feel that moderators should spend more time on the Forums and interacting with the community
I also really appreciate your different opinion @Desi_br , hence the whole reason for this thread
I am glad you see it differently and from the perspective that you do, as there are some things that I agree with
Most specifically… 4 THE LOVE OF HALO
Thanks again for your feedback so far guys, looking forward to reading more of your feedback, insights and perspectives!
