No, I don’t think we have enough information to judge whether or no the core of Halo is gone. I’d like to see some actual game footage, possibly play it before I start ranting about it.

as price said in call of duty, or halo 4 (can’t tell because the games are to similar to eachother) “you can’t be betrayed if you never trusted him, I never did”

Why would I feel betrayed? 343 Industries is giving us a Halo experience that is different from what we’ve had before, but still without a doubt a Halo game that looks like it will be excellent. I’m sure it still feels like Halo and plays like Halo, even with these interesting changes.
Did anybody honestly think they were going to just give us Halo 2 or 3 again with just a small few changes, even after they explained that the game was going to be radically changed?

One cannot feel betrayed if they did not trust something. You never trusted 343 did you?
The new additions are just that, new. All we know are the questions that need asking. Without answers, how are we to judge what is a betrayal in this sense?

people are saying that they won’t like halo IF blah blah blhah, no one is really saying halo 4 IS bad no matter what, or atleast that is what I think

It does make sense that they need to change halo, after all we don’t want it to be like MW3 where every1 refers to it as MW2.5 with just painted over better graphics and the same gameplay engine. But yeah i do sort of agree with you, these new elements might jeopardize halo’s arena quality and make it more mainstream

Betrayed implies I didn’t expect them to make Halo 4 terrible, though to be honest this game is a tad more terrible than I had imagined.

Somewhat yes. I have 25% positive confidence in Halo 4 and 343i now.
