if we have this? Halo CE had it for the passenger seat and people hated it if I remember correctly but what if we had it as option? Think about it, first person firing a turret instead of third person. Or even when you detached it and see it in your arms of how cool looking it is. And I am saying it as a option to have on or off.

Maybe for the Warthog, Mongoose, and Wasp. Covenant vehicles might be awkward because I think they use a display screen instead of a transparent windscreen.

If I remember correctly it uses like Predator like display but purple.
third person gives you a better look of the battle

I have thought the turret should have a 1st person option kind of like its own smart scope
I’ve wanted a custom games toggle for first/third person in vehicles/with heavy weapons for years, now. One of my favorite things that Bungie did with Reach was make the passenger seats inside the falcon stay in first person. Looking out of the back of that thing to the world below felt so much closer to reality that way.
Halo 5 sort of allows for that, or near it – in Forge, you can set the camera’s distance from each vehicle specifically. This was put in chiefly so that people could make welded vehicles and move the camera back to comfortably frame them on the screen, but you can also bring the camera closer, too. Much closer. Would be neat to play Big Team with all the vehicles real close like that.

Alright back to topic. It’s okay but I prefer 3rd person view so having a option for 3rd & 1st person view would be a nice touch.

You would just have a small frame to watch out in the scorpion and possibly a turretmounted camera so you would have to watch two things at the same time what would be really hard.
The Mantis has an small greenscreen with an radar and this small round antenna at the side is also somsort of movmentcontrollsystem.
I’ve wanted first person for a long time. it would be awsome to get it as a option.
Its probably better left as it is i prefer it anyway
I think going straight to third person when on a turret or in a vehicle gives it a unique look from the other FPS.
