Not only did I get ejected by the enemy Wraith slamming into me, but I died and my vehicle survived.

yeah it works, and that looks frustrating as hell. Its been happening to a few people recently with vehicle collisions

I think the Mantis was specifically made so that its legs can get taken out by Wraiths. How the might have fallen, the Mantis was much stronger in H4. The stomp has been nerfed to it practically having to be a direct hit…

yeah i never use the mantis, banshee all the way xD Halo 4 mantis was great. It should be a much stronger stomp but what ah well
