So this achievement is complete misleading and also unobtainable. It’s called “Do You Even Gift?” The condition is to “Drop a Power Weapon for an ally in a matchmade game.” Hate to say it, but there is no way to drop a weapon. You can only exchange it. Nobody has this achievement worldwide. Confirmed.

I unlocked it months ago. You have to hold one of the buttons down for a few seconds to put down a weapon. I can’t remember which button it is, but I remember putting down my pistol a lot during LSS which left me with only the disruptor and not being able to pick up my pistol. :sweat_smile:

Have you tried picking it up yourself after dropping it?

Yes, but never unlocks. I had a Cindershot and sniper rifle when I attempted this.

Hold down your “swap weapon” button. You can rebind it to a D-pad, but I’m assuming you haven’t done that.

I leave my buttons at default.

Assuming you are on controller? If so hold Y when you have 2 weapons and you will drop the one you are holding.

I got that part, but the weapon I had were a Cindershot, Mauler, Needler, Shotgun when I attempted this.

Honestly, if I attempted this with a Sniper Rifle and attempted to pick it up, then the achievement is no longer unlockable for the player themselves to pick it up. Since nobody plays the game anymore and always ignore other teammate’s weapon, it’s no longer unlockable.

I don’t think you can do it yourself.

One of the first days this game was out, I was playing with my brother and I said, “Yo, hang on. Pick up the weapon I drop.” I dropped it. He picked it up. Achievement unlocked.

Honestly though, have you asked someone over the mic or pinged the weapon you just dropped?

Try also when u got a powerful weapon, just melee someone on team to get his attention and throw weapon Infront of him to take it…

I have it.

Anything with a gold outline.

Energy Sword.
Gravity Hammer.
Cindershot.
Rocket Launcher.
Sniper Rifle.
Skewer.

Someone else has to pick it up that’s on your team. This isn’t terribly hard to achieve. But you have to drop it. Not exchange it. There’s a button for that. On controller, it’s just holding down Y.

Does this include for example if the rocket launcher is out of rockets? I just hold y while it’s out and I drop it? Thanks in advance… a lot of times instead of melee it switches weapons, and I’m hoping I can avoid this simply by dropping the weapon
