Do you even care about your K/D ratio anymore?

I used to care, and mines about 1.3. I play well in most of my games, and almost always go positive K.D

However, in about 30% of games, I’m left 1v4 or 2v4, and I can’t be bothered to try and camp until the game is out, so I just try to get kills, but I end up being like 9 kills and 25 deaths. It ruins my record overall.

I’m not going to risk quitting.

It’s a lot more difficult to be 1v4 on this game because as soon as you’re spotted, you’ve got about 5 seconds before everyone on the opposite team is on you with unlimited sprint and thrusters.

I shouldn’t care, but I do. I won’t sacrifice objectives in order to preserve my K/D but I don’t feel I’ve done well in a match unless I have more kills than deaths.

I wouldn’t suggest to care about the k/d in this game when it comes to arena.

tbh no i don’t care about it. i only play Halo to have fun.

I only care if it counts, like in Swat, killing more than dying is important, so I try not to get killed too often, but in CTF etc, no.

I do since most of the stuff I play is Arena, but when it is Objective I obviously go all tactical

Never did, but flaunted it a little bit (taking screenshots of post game carnage reports and such) because I’m a destroyer at halo, it’s probably not so high now them diamond players are no joke

I play halo for fun…sucks that 343 is kinda missing the boat on that whole part right now

yeah i care about my k.d i refuse myself to go negative in a game.

I never have.

K/D should even out to close to 1 if the matchmaking is working and players aren’t farming it.

I try not to, but I did like having more kills and death. But this game is so team based and I don’t have a team.

Don’t care about my K/D any more or my Win/Loss ratio especially since in rumble pit anything other than 1st goes down as a loss.

I do care, I don’t want to be below the 1.0. I just do not like it.

First comes the W/L record, then the KDA, and then last K/D.

If all you’re worried about is maintaining your life without regard to helping teammates or the win, then you are not playing as competitively as you could.

It is true, lives are a precious resource, but giving up 1 life to gain a distraction and therefore ground for the whole team is more than an acceptable way to compete.

If you’re looking to compete online, you don’t roll with 3 randoms. It’s the sucky reality of having that “attitude.”

I do well because I have friends who are good at the game. So I don’t have to worry about being left by myself because randoms are garbage.

Id suggest quitting if you are playing 1v4. All it does is count the game as a loss. The system takes the fact that all your team mates quit into account and will not really punish you by banning you or decreasing your player rep.
Playing 1v4 isnt fun for anyone, not even the full team -.-

it balances out, think of the games that you are playing where you are the 4 against a 2… you shouldnt be dying

But you risk being banned for quitting though…

Nah, because I am unlike most people. I stay in the game. A lot of the games where it’s 1v4, a player will just quit where as I don’t.

Also, I’m not the sort of player who will try to hunt down the last player like a try hard to get more kills. We’ve won the game. I just tend to mess around.

Picking on the last player around doesn’t feel rewarding.

I don’t pay attention to my KDR. I just play the game.

It’s all about the req pacs!!!
