Hey Halo Fans
I’ve recently been re doing all of the Halo campaigns for all the games, Halo CE Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo 4, as refresher prior to the MCC launch.
Have been doing all of the missions as speed runs, and has been a huge amount of fun, all on Legendary of course.
Do you like speed runs?

I’m a great fan of speed runs and love watching people make runs. It’s really interesting to see how different people tackle certain areas and use the games engine and AI against itself to make their runs quicker. Some of the skips that people have found over the years still amaze me to this day -
- Nightfall skip in Reach by clipping through the door- Some of the library skips like hopping round the inside to bypass enemies- Running along the rooftops in Outskirts Halo 2- Going straight to the last tower in the Pelican in Halo 4’s ShutdownI still love exploring my way through the campaign though, so I tend not to do many skips and speed running tactics myself
No, sadly I don’t like the stress of having a time limit. I like to enjoy the ride.
Of course, I like being able to play games differently.
I hate doing speed runs because I suck but I love watching great players do speed runs of halo and most games I like.
Yeah, I was actually a member of HighSpeedHalo before everybody ditched and went to HaloRuns. I hold the World Record for Winter Contingency Full Path Normal, and I used to be tied for the World Record for Tayari Plaza Easy. The guy who I was tied with (Dark Devastation) has an achievement named after him in MCC (Devastated-Finish Halo 3 in under 3 hours). And I used to be tied for the WR in Kikowani Station Easy. So I have very little speed-running success basically
But it’s fun and addicting if you’re good at it.

Watching them yes, doing them no.
I’d rather enjoy the level myself, but watching someone speed run through Truth and Reconciliation in under 5 minutes is cool to see.
i watch a few speed runs they are good entertainment
