After grinding through bronze and silvers (And every so often a gold) I’ve finally finished every Common, Uncommon and rare for everything (Except the locked emblems through commendations/Levels.)
Now finally moving onto gold packs, it does feel good to finally see some ultra rare’s (Yet to see legionaries) pop up so frequently
My question for you all though, is do you enjoy grinding through all the ‘Junk’ to finally get the rewarding gear?
The RNG system is a bit odd, frustrating at times, but I feel for the people that are still needing to unlock a hella amount of uncommons and rare’s to finally start getting some good stuff after it (Not to say you couldn’t, knowing some peoples luck they could get a mythic straight away). What are your feelings upon this?

This mostly, but I also enjoy the grinding as well from time to time. Not always, but sometimes. It’s a nice change of pace.
The RNG could be a little more R though, I don’t like the set “common then uncommon and rare Etc.” there should be a higher chance of getting anything at any level rather then the lowest point.
I’ve finished the commons, I quite like going for a 100% unlock with H5 as it’s one way to show some sort of progression, the numbered SRs don’t do it for me as I don’t get anything from it.
I like feel of REQ’s (At one point in which I didn’t) but I feel as if i need to grind towards something, like an OCD thing, where i need to go for an achievement, armor, unlock in general.
Not really, I find it a trumendus stressful time consumer atm, maybe That will change once we get more SOCIAL gametypes, at least then I can sit back and relax rather then constintly be at my A game.

It’s basically like gambling, people see it as a challenge and are willing to let that override the fun, they just Wana win. If everyone thought the way you do, this game would be a lot more fun.
I am a Halo addict. I will play regardless of grinding for points or reqs or whatever. I do think the req system is better as every one will get future maps and content whether they bought reqs or not. Now the ball is in 343s court to bring us this content. Yeah some has been release but nothing of good quality or what shouldn’t have been there since launch.
Yes I enjoy grinding for REQs. Atm. I really just want the Halo2BR. But to reach that goal I have to collect all the other common-things like emblems, so I run for silver-packs… Sometimes its really frustrating but… Well… I work for it.
I think REQs in their entirety are stupid. I can’t believe anybody, let alone many, actually care about them.
If REQs weren’t there, 343 would have more time to focus on improving gameplay, or maps… or anything of actual significance…
…and the first step would be for them to resign and allow somebody like Hoberman take over.
When I get grinding it ruins it for me. I grab something else to do in intermission so I’m not tempted to stare wishfully at the REQ pack screen. Time flies when you do bits of homework between matches.
Usually, I boot up Halo 5 after looking through the REQs I don’t have yet and go into BTB thinking “I’ll get enough points for the pack I need, then I’ll get it… eventually.” Then 9 games and 3 packs later I’ll get nothing I really wanted and either go do something else or play one more game.
