Do you as a customer/player feel valued this time around?

Excuse you, this game is still in Alpha can’t you tell?

It feels like they value my wallet…

Aside from the body/voice options, no. No, I do not feel valued and never have been by 343i. I probably never really WILL feel properly valued or respected as a customer.

I do not, which is my biggest issue. Threads get locked down even when they don’t break the rules, if someone at 343 doesn’t like them. We get condescending remarks in their public statements. Lies and broken promises, especially from Inside Infinite. They admitted they knew their decisions would upset people, and they did them anyways. Well, as someone upset by their decisions that really doesn’t feel good. It isn’t good PR.

Wait, isn’t it a good idea to let the community monitor the forums? :joy::rofl: only 343 could think that is a good idea.

What is your deal? Even if you were being sincere about wanting a helicopter body type (which you obviously aren’t) Dodger was talking about something they appreciate. And bringing the helicopter was just an attack on them being trans. Please cut that out.

The whole I identify as an attack helicopter joke is obviously meant to mock trans people, which Dodger is. Don’t play ignorant.

Finding something offensive or not doesn’t change that it was rude. It’s not polite, and there is no reason to purposefully disrespect others here. Especially when they haven’t done anything. That’s all I’m gonna say, make whatever come back you want justifying being impolite.

I think it’s pretty fair to call Halo Fans “Halo Consumers” now, because that’s all we are now. Money. Sure, Halo as a business was originally about making profit, but it was equally a passionate project when Bungie owned it. You could see and feel the love in those games. 343’s Halo games are basically corporate fanfictions, with Infinite being the worst contender for taking everything we love about Bungie Halo, and trashing it, to replace it with everything we hate about modern games.

Nah

Also, absolutely love that it’s “planned” to be a decade game ( said when we basically had no gameplay and very little screenshots to go on ). People ate it like a hungry person scoffs down an amazing meal.

Now, two months after release, with a roadmap scheduled for January, we have no roadmap, and I fondly remember talking about how I seriously doubt they have anything planned beyond three years ahead. I didn’t think we’d sit here two month post-release having no roadmap, and them saying they need to work more on it?

Did the person on stage for Halo Infinite read the wrong script? Was the ten year plan for another game?
How do you have plans to keep a game alive for ten whole years, and not have a planned and finished roadmap at release, on top of a one year delay.

No consumer here except the $1 I paid to try out their joke of a campaign. Won’t see me purchasing a single MTX or Battlepass like a fool.

Glad you realize you can just ignore people instead of getting offended lol If only people would apply that to the real world now.

You sound like a child.

To be completely honest no. I don’t feel valued.

Given how the game is structured, its a game that wants to keep me around no matter what, with an almost carrot on a stick mentality behind the weekly reward system. combined with a vast yet restrictive customisation system, especially compared to previous halo’s.

in other words no, I don’t feel valued in this game.

Dude, if you don’t understand what tact is you can just say that.

If that’s their goal, it’s not doing a good job of that in my opinion, after completing the pass, there is no replay value, nothing to achieve, nothing to track and build upon, the game is a chore to play, whether it’s campaign(which really upsets me) or multiplayer(any playlist). But that’s just my observation.

That’s why a general progression system is so much better than these weekly capstone (they could have both). With general ranking you get on, play a match or two, and it has an impact. Maybe small, but it does. With the weeklies, if you’ve done the pass already you have to a do a bunch of stuff you probably don’t want to do, then at the end of it you get challenges like stop three killing sprees, which is mostly luck.

Well, I waited six years for a sequel to Halo 5 where Id have another chance to get Cortana back. So…not really.

With the multiplayer, I don’t think they have much choice. I am sure they’d love if BTB worked and they had Forge working. Given how much criticism they took to heart on Halo 5 for its one month :scream: delay on Forge it’s hard to believe the plan wasn’t to get that all done for launch. It’s probably just a case of time before all the stuff gets added. But I don’t think that’s from any kind of malice or contempt for the fans.

It’s not 2017. They had six years to develop the game and that meant there were some very high expectations. That’s more where the concern comes from.

As a basic rule there is a saying which in the case of Infinite is true,
“You get what you pay for “
………work the rest out for yourself !
