I love the cutscenes for each episode and the plot is getting ever more interesting, but the actual chapters themselves are starting to feel very tedious to me.
I thought Spartan Ops would be less…repetitive than it is currently. I was glad for the generator defense this week but the hype is starting to wear off for me.
What do you think? Do you guys want a Season 2 of Spartan Ops or do you think one season will be enough?
Only if they actually bring in brand new environments, better objectives than flipping switches and more consistent missions that fit the story told in the cutscenes.
yea i want another season. i like the ops because its a nice break from multilayer and i assume its gonna get better as time goes on.

He didn’t say it was bad, he said it was repetitive and getting tedious. Both of which are things Spartan Ops has become in its current form. Rehashed environments, rehashed objectives, talk about dull.

Don’t get me wrong, I by no means hate Spartan Ops. It’s an innovative way of keeping the game alive long after campaign is done and I’m a lore junkie. Plus it’s a lot of fun with a full party of friends -Yoink- around. I’m just wishing there was more variety to the missions rather than “Press that button then wipe out all remaining forces in the area for Science”
I want a Spartan Ops Season 2, but only if they build more environments which are specifically for it. Playing the same missions over and over is bad enough, but when they have been blatently ripped straight out of campaign or mp it gets a bit annoying each week.
Sure, why not ? Almost anything to keep the game going with xtra story elements is always fun.
The current Spartan Op’s missions being kicked into high gear like they have been is great. Not to mention I’m brimming with excitement at the notions being given for the story.
Yes, give us a second season. More lore, more problems to solve (as in, more people to shoot) in different areas and to be clear: no areas play out exactly the same, this is something I approve greatly of as it was an initial fear that enemies would become predictable after playing X episode, but so far?
They haven’t been. It’s a great movement algorithm because I still haven’t cracked it. Hence why I play so much S.O.
