I recently posed this question within the Halo universe forum and thought since it related more to Halo 5 I’ll launch it here…so
I hear a few people always throw around the “idea” that certain characters should be killed off such as Team Osiris, Palmer…lm guessing due to being handled poorly in Halo 5 by 343i. Though I pose the question to those…do they really need to be killed off, why not demand 343 to write them better…I’m so burnt out by so many characters dying off so sudden in the universe its frustrating (Didact, Jul.M and Black team)…It only reminds me of the times when everybody nagged Bungie to kill off Arbiter because he took spotlight time from the chief from H2 and subsequently lead to Arbiter having a backseat in Halo 3…all in all Halo is a massive universe with so many stories, killing off new Characters makes it seems like such wasted potential, I know these Characters were weak…but characters are written just like the stories and Halo 5 unfortunately had a bad writer.

I see your point we shouldn’t kill them(except Tananka she can leave the series lol) but i feel like some characters need to be pushed aside(locke,Tanaka). Palmer isn’t to bad but she definitely needs some work. And they need to bring Thorn in that was one character they did a good job then they scrapped him.
I want there to be a time warp, and Atriox goes up against the Spartans from Reach…then Chief comes in with the help from Link from Hyrule and they just wreck face.

No offense but this as well why should Locke and Tanaka be put aside?..I honestly felt that Tanaka had the strongest back story of the entire fireteam osiris, Locke I get he wasn’t what he should of been but the whole Tanaka thing I dont quite get…she acted the most humane out all the spartans including blue team in 5

You posted a racially charged thread like this last night, I locked it. You posted a revised version of the subject again today, minus the racial overtones, so I let it go and moved it to the relevant section - Halo Universe.
You don’t get to post your topic AGAIN in a different section. You’re asking lore/canon questions and those belong in the Universe section.
