Out of all the things in warzone I find the marines annoying as heck. They can see through camo, insta kill with nades, burst you down in milliseconds and are way too tanky if you cant headshot them
Yes I maybe being a little bit salty because they lead to my death recently, but in general I haven’t found any encounter that was really enriched by the presence of these guys, with their horrific inconsistency.
Now I think that marines should be in the home bases, but when it comes to other bases, and especially ones like the monument and fortress, they give defenders a much harder time to attack and can harras people outside the base aswell.
I’m just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on our AI brethren and if its just me being salty or others agree.
TD;DR - Delete marines in bases, especially fortress and spire plz.

Odsts would be pretty sick. They just drop pod in when you cap a base.
They just stand in one spot and die and the rarely have any impact on the map like other A.I. do. Maybe if they actually left the base and had larger numbers…
It’s a way to stop players being able to capture bases that don’t have anyone inside them, and gives time for the team to respond and return to defend the base. Plus they’re easy to kill and can be enjoyable to get a multi-kill on without missing a shot like something out of an old western film.

The point is that they stay in the base to stop/slow down attempted captures. They haven’t put them in to aid in gunfights (but they will occasionally do that).
They don’t add anything I think, unless you’re in the base while someone is trying to cap you won’t know anyone is there until it starts getting capped. Having the Marines there is just an OP place holder. Ya they die easily if you get the headshot but God forbid you try to sneak into a base and try to cap it since they can see through your camo and somehow seem to have a faster ttk with an AR than a Spartan.

I love pushing them from the base and they just wander around the battlefield like lost mental patients.
I like the marines. It allows your team a bit of freedom to advance across the map without constantly worrying about losing their bases the minute they step out of them.

i would like to see marine and ODST squads going down “lanes” at each other kind like minions in LoL
