Do they sell arena req pack @ retail?

Basicly the title. I’m in canada by the way! Also if I do buy It can I hold onto the packs and not open them untill I unlock all my commons and stuff from silver?

I believe you can hold the pack an not opened as you could do this with the Warzone bundle. Best thing is to open them when you are done with Bronze and Silver pack. That way you are guaranteed and Ultra-Rare Legendary/Mythic unlock. I don’t know if there is any retail version of it though…

You can buy the code from amazon, and just hold on to putting the code in to the xbox store. But I’m pretty sure that you can just leave them in your REQ inventory, unopened, indefinitely. Someone please let me know if this is incorrect.

Thanks if you can leave it unopened that would be great. Side question how many read roughly do I have to spend on bronze packs before moving on feels like it’s been awhile.

I actually am not a fan of the theory that buying bronzes is worth your while to get the commons out of the way. The Bronze packs only provide common items with a chance at getting one permanent unlock (also a common). Since you’re leaving it up to chance, the best rate of return I ever got out of bronzes was getting two permanents in four bronze packs. I have also gotten permanents from bronze packs at much lower rates, like 1 every 4 or 5. 4 bronze packs happen to be equivalent to the REQ cost of one silver pack, which guarantees two permanent unlocks, ranging from common to rare.

So my advice is to go with silvers from now on. You’ll know when youre done when you start getting REQ points back in the silver packs. But if you’re asking about being done with bronzes, it seems you have a LONG way to go before you get done with silvers.

I’m done with the silvers, and SR-wise did it much faster than my friends. And occasionally, I would buy a gold REQ pack just to indulge my Counter Strike Case Opening gambling addiction. But be prepared for disappointment, as they can give you anything from uncommon to legendary.

I need to put more hours into halo damn family lol

Haha yeah. It will take a while. The benefit to doing it systematically though is, once you’re done with silvers, you will only have Ultra-rares, Legendaries, and Mythics left, so everything is a good pick up from there on.

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE GRIND.

Silver, Gold method does work but is a little more expensive. Bronze does feel like 1/5 sometimes but in general you are probably somewhere between 50-80%. If you have 2 certification out of 4 packs you are still on par with a silver pack. I’ve heard of people receiving REQ point back from silver pack while still having common to unlock (mongoose and few weapon)
