Do suppressors reduce the damage of the weapon?

So in other fsp like battlefield and rainbow six suppressors may effect your weapon either reduced damage or bullet drop. So i was wonder if halo 5 if there was any thing that benefits me from use suppressors or effects the weapon or is the suppressor just for looks. Also can someone explain the attachments in halo 5 and if they have any benefits or disadvantages.

I was wondering this about suppressors as well.

All attachments give benefits none of them have disadvantage now can someone either link or post what all attachments do I am too lazy

They don’t affect damage or range in any way.

They reduce your visibility on radar.

Suppressors stop the player showing up on the radar when they are shooting but crouched/not moving. Shooting would normally cause the player to show up but a suppressor stops that.
