Playing some warzone games last night and I have come to the conclusion that most players just don’t play this game mode right. Its a team objective to either first reach 1000 points by killing Spartans or for max points killing bosses or legendary Bosses, capture the enemy’s three main bases so you can destroy their core.
That’s because you get a crap load of EXP and REQ points regardless of the outcome of the match. Plus, it’s a great place to grind those commendations.
They do not! Take it from someone who whitnessed (in his opinion) The “BIGGEST CLOWN” in halo history start off a Warzone:Assault by charging headstrong into the Garage on that map(cant remember the name) just…JUST! so he could spartan charge ONE person! I left the game immidiately after that!~
It’s free for all because those 2 objectives don’t blend well together the bases should only be used as spawn points and destroy the core should be removed to just focus on boss kills.
Not to mention you can get kills you didn’t earn including bosses.
Today I got a kill from using a rail gun but I was using a DMR and it was a team mate that used the rail gun and rewarded a team mates splatter and I was on foot. In previous games I’ve been rewarded the kill from bosses even if I didn’t do any thing and for this reason I don’t bother playing it unless I feel like using some reqs I’m not getting to use in assault.
Yeah… many people dont play warzone in team they youst want to make kills with theyr weapons .
Or sometimes they just want to kill and doesnt order their special weapons or wehicles, and the enemy team have 5 tanks in the round becouse they use theyre Cards.
Yeah, im kinda sick of people not doig the right things in warzone,Ii feel your pain. I love when my team strugles to take one base, when there are 3, and we have one. I end up yelling at every one to go to a diferent base, one where a whole enemy team isnt bombarding you with power weapons.

I do love warzone for those two reasons. Soon I will be hated for trying hard to get kills with bolt shots and other crap power weapons.
A lot of people in more detail don’t want to work together for many reasons , they don’t use their mics and they don’t coordinate , or call out enemies . There’s nothing like hanging up on one enemy a team effort instead of trying to go head-to-head with a organized team whose mopping the floor with you.
There’s one simple thing that almost everyone gets wrong with Warzone - no communication. Any team where even just three or four guys co-ordinate can take the victory.
It seems to me that I see most players endlessly rushing into the Garage/Spire/Fortress or abandoning all base defences and just going after AI opponents.
I certainly don’t. I personally find it boring AF. But that’s my opinion and you do not need to be upset.
But speaking of your point OP, not many people want to play the objective and prefer to shoot each other. Find me any FPS which isn’t solely objective where people always play the objective.
I think the majority of Warzone regulars are there either for REQ points or because they’re not very good and don’t do well in Arena, I wouldn’t go in expecting anything from them.
Halo has a long LONG history of players not playing the objective, at least in my experience. 90% of the time in BTB in MCC if an Objective based gametype is chosen half the players completely ignore the objective.
