Do people still play Halo: CE and Halo 2

I’m not talking about the MCC versions of the games… Do any of you still play Halo: CE and/or Halo 2 with your old Xbox, and why?

I played H2 actually on my old Xbox, because I keep playing LAN with some friends in my neighborhood, and I also play in other way, but I can’t talk about that because I already receive a message from one monitor who argue “this topic that you had talked about playing H2 online (Halo 2 of Classic Xbox) you are promoting cheating”, if I keep talking about that I will get permanently banned on Halo Waypoint.

I also keep playing Halo 2 on Windows Vista. Halo CE I never played in the classic Xbox on PC, but I enjoyed on MCC.

Promoting cheating… WAT?

i still play halo 2 on my old Xbox, i play it when when no other newer games sound fun to play something about just booting up that game on the Xbox that brings back the memory’s of Saturday mornings with a blanket wrapped around me and a bowl of cereal fighting in new Mombasa.

That’s messed. If the game can no longer be played online unless with specific people through lan literally anything should be able to go

We had a CE LAN last month, and are having another in November. It’s still super fun, and it’s still the truest experience.

I been in Halo since my childhood, used to play with big brother in his xbox, these games are my history so ill never change them for anything. Nowdays i still playin’ them every now and then, although in 360, because their ol’ graphics always bring me great memories, also i like to see Real original graphics. Halo CE, 2, 3 will always be a treasure in my hearth.

Yes and because it’s the best way to play for LAN parties. It’s great to play like the old days especially with lifelong friends. No better way if you ask me.

When I want to speedrun Halo CE without and hiccups, I go for the original Xbox version. If I want to play modded Halo 2, I play the original as well.

I was a pretty big name in the Halo Custom Edition scene back in the day so I spent most of my time on the Gearbox PC port. Still play it. Yes, I still have my original 2003 CD with the CD key, haha. I hop on every once in a while to start a server of my old maps for some fun with friends.
