Do people not read the blog posts?

There are still forum posts popping up about aim acceleration, deadzones, lack of BTB, and even about Forge not being there and I just don’t get it. ALL OF THESE questions and complaints were answered by 343i in one way or another, and their answers were straight forward with no vague wording whatsoever.

Yet here we are seeing threads of people complaining about the same things and they occasionally become the most replied to. This shouldn’t be happening on such a large scale.

This has led me to believe that a lot of people here don’t read the blogs posted by 343i.

Meanwhile there are some informative posts by both 343 and community members that seem to get overlooked example:

Smash The Nerds Deadzones post (explains the large deadzones that Halo 5 has comparatively with Titanfall)

November Sneak Peak (including 343i’s notice of deadzone issues.)

343i’s statement of BTB coming November 15th (November Sneak Peak)

Forge coming in December with many new features and improvements

This is all information that has answered most of peoples complaints and questions, yet I am sure you guys will find a way to say “this is news to me,” which is realistic considering most people have lives outside of games, but if you have time to go on these forums and make a post, chances are you have time to look at the official blog posts made by 343i themselves. (A lot of commas, I know)

The things that 343i has not answered is Warzone assault cheating and aim acceleration, although I feel 343i will patch the Warzone assault issue before making a statement. As for aim acceleration, 343i will likely make an official statement after November if not before November ends.

Haha of course people don’t read the updates. You’re asking for people to be entirely too resourceful. :stuck_out_tongue:

nope they rather just ask questions on the forums instead of doing a little research

ahaha

IKR. The Destiny forums have this problem pretty badly, which is annoying since the app and website literally open with a massive thumbnail and a link to the most recent News post. People here are much more informed (in terms of updates and fixes), and yet they are so impatient when it comes to “bugs” or other fixes.

99% of players don’t lurk on the forums and of the ones that do, half of them only post once in a while so they don’t think to read the blog posts. Its not unreasonable at all to assume that the vast majority of Halo players never see them, only the dedicated forum members who live and breathe Halo are going to be in the know.

That’s just your average person. It’s just how people are in general.

The funny thing is, even if you don’t read the blogs if you look at the forum for 10 seconds you see the SAME THREADS over and over again. Read the thread, and reply to it if you want to but don’t create your own of the very same topic.

Facepalm. If they need information they just complain instead.
