i just played a match with a “clan” who happened to be on my team. so i thought, okay cool, we should have a good chance at winning right?

all three of them, walked around shooting in to the air, without any intention on winning the match.

Yes, trashy teammates are not a new thing. I also think they should SERIOUSLY modify skill/connection. I can’t get out of the ‘Nothing but MLG’ playlists anymore!

i would love to switch, because what i just experienced, made me want to throw up. bad/garbage teamates are one thing. but teammates who legit THROW THE GAME. is disquesting

drives me nuts but absolutely happens. at least they didn’t just quit on you and leave you 1 v 4! also why i think that the lower ranks are also much harder to win games in the first week of the month than the end of the month.
i would love to see a study of what part of the month a solo player ranks highest/lowest when starting unranked in matchmaking. I have a feeling it is much harder to rank well at the beginning.

Usually when you reach the higher ranks of plat and abv you will have less of this
Yep those guys were likely smurfing. They drop to lower ranks to do montages, do a YouTube series where they go bronze to champion, or just so they can feel better about themselves. It’s kinda despicable because it ruins the game for anyone without a full fireteam.

Yeah they’re smurfing. I’ve played against actual bronzes only a couple of times and it’s actually kind of scary. They are so unpredictable, throw nades when they shouldn’t (which is always), push with AR when you’d expect them to back down and so on.
